About bloody time! These incredible people work their arses off day in, day out to support wonderful, vulnerable young people. Often in incredibly challenging circumstances! Their current pay in no way matches the hard work they put in. It literally takes seconds!

Many SEN teaching assistants (TAs) handle complex behavioural, medical, and communication needs. We feel current pay doesn’t reflect the intensity or value of the work. Low pay contributes to recruitment & retention challenges. We believe TAs should receive SEN allowances.

Our resident chef has outdone himself over the last couple of days. I’m sure you’ll agree that this fakeaway looks incredible!!
Kung po prawns, Thai pan, beef chow mein, home cooked prawn crackers and a delicious duck soup to start. An incredible amount of effort and resilience went into this and it has all paid off!!

So incredibly proud of this young lady! From finding it incredibly challenging to share a room with me only months ago, to working unbelievably hard and smashing year 6 maths, making lots of mess in our science experiments and visits to The Outwoods over the summer! Now, starting your new school tomorrow!!

Thursday mornings won’t be the same, but I’m super proud of what you’ve achieved and so excited for your next chapter!! my word it has been a blast!!

Completely random ask, but does anyone have any PS2 games knocking around? They’d come in super handy for the ‘old school’ gaming history sessions with a certain young man this week.

We’ve had an awesome time working on our skibidi toilet Gman 4.0 and Titan speaker man (IYKYK) project, using this amazing cardboard modelling kit (pictured below)! Unfortunately he sustained some damage in battle, so today we turned our efforts to Lego instead. Some serious focus and hard work has gone into these projects!

Our superstar chef has been doing some serious planning over the Christmas break. Yesterday, we were busy creating food from Disney’s ‘Raya and the Last Dragon’.
Raya Soup, with Guinea fowl stock, chilli, bamboo shoots, lemon grass, shrimp paste, palm sugar, garlic and fresh coriander. Tempura prawns and spicy sesame Udon.

Needless to say. One word; scrumptious!!
