Witty Kiddies Sydenham will be hosting a spectacular open day on July 18th 2025 from 2-5pm! Please come and join us for lots of fun, activities and snacks. We have availability for all ages and offer the 15 and 30 hours free funding. Cant wait to see you all!!

Our Nursery is seeking passionate and experienced full-time staff for our baby room and a preschool staff ( Level 2 & 3) to provide inspiring and fun care for our children whilst creating a nurturing environment and encouraging bravery and curiosity in our children's development. Apprentice Nursery Practitioner

Are you passionate about working with young children and ensuring they are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment? Would you like to qualify in a Level 2/3 childcare/early years education qualification and have an interest in working with children of this age group? If you do, it would be great to hear from you.
We are looking to recruit staff members for our Sydenham setting, we have a baby unit within the setting for children aged 3 months - 24 months and our Preschool room is for children aged 2yrs-5yrs.

The work of a nursery practitioner can vary greatly depending on the age of the children that you will be working with and their individual needs. You must be proactive and willing to be dedicated. This is an ideal role for someone who is able to work independently and has a real ability to instil confidence to all children and parents/carers at the nursery as well as working as part of a fun and experienced team.
Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to :
*Ensuring the children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment;
*Planning and preparing the room;
*Work in partnership with the parents and relevant external agencies;
*You will also need to have an understanding of the EYFS curriculum
*Please note that unfortunately we cannot proceed with your application if you cannot evidence references of a minimum of two years recent experience within a childcare setting.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Childcare Schedule: Monday to Friday - 9.00am-3.00pm
(From September the hours required will be 7.30am-6.30pm)
