Year 4 put on a fabulous performance of Shrek at Swindon Academy today. It was a great opportunity to show their creativity and they were inspired by the range of skills needed to put on a show.

We had a fantastic time during our Year 2 live author event with John Patrick Green!

The children were so excited to meet the author of the InvestiGators series and loved hearing about how he creates his stories and illustrations.

They were inspired to think about their own ideas for characters and adventures!

It was such a wonderful opportunity for the children to experience a real author talk first-hand and develop their love of reading and writing.

Last week, dancers from Year 1 and 2 took part in the KS1 Dance Festival at the Wyvern theatre and had a fantastic time. They brought their character of robbers searching for the Crown Jewels to life brilliantly, showing great energy, expression and confidence.
After practising with Miss Heidi over the past two months, the children were incredibly brave stepping onto the stage and performing in front of a large audience. They also showed great maturity backstage and while watching the other performances, demonstrating excellent behaviour and teamwork throughout the day.
It was a wonderful experience and the children should be very proud of their achievements.

NON-UNIFORM DAY THIS FRIDAY!

This Friday (19th of June), we are holding a non-uniform day where children can bring in an item for one of the stalls. Each class is being given a colour from the rainbow as a theme to donate items. Please provide items with a use by/best before date that is at least a month away.
