We’ve spent the last two days very busily getting our school ready to welcome back our families after a very warm summer.

We hope you’ve had a great holiday, but we’re excited to get going and see all of our wonderful children and families again.

As the curtain comes down on this academic year, we would like to say a huge thank you to the whole of our community!

We’ve had a great year, with the arrival of Mr John, some exciting experiences, house groups, sports day, various fundraising opportunities, new murals, and most importantly, a whole load of hard work by everyone!

To all our Year 6 leavers, we wish you all the best at your new schools - they’re very lucky to have you, and we will miss you!

Have a wonderful summer holidays and we will see you on Thursday 3rd September.

Today, we enjoyed our new-format Sports Day and the inaugural event for our new School Houses - Rise, Aspire, Rooted, Thrive and Flourish! A great shot of the whole school enjoying their activities, before a family picnic on the field at lunchtime, and a wide range of races this afternoon.

Congratulations to Thrive for winning the trophy 🏆

A huge well done to everyone who took part and a massive thank you to the parents and families for joining us!

We have loved watching the progress of our murals in the Hall this week… more to come next week with our House badges and mottos!

Here’s one side of the hall I’ve been working on at Oaktree Primary in Park South. I love this space with its rainbow beams. More to come on the other side next week.
