How do you demonstrate competence for Instructors carrying out PPE Pre-use Checks? 11/02/2026

How does your Centre equip Junior Instructors with the knowledge and skills to carry out essential pre-use checks of climbing and high ropes PPE before each session?

Most Centres invest in 'Competent Person' qualifications for their senior activities staff, but the more junior instructors - who carry out daily pre-use checks - don't have any formal certificated training.

Our 'Introduction to PPE Inspections' online course helps answer this question.

Read our latest blog post to learn a little more about this topic, and how we can help!
