Today we have said ‘Happy Retirement’ to Chris as he heads off to start his ‘longest holiday’

Chris started Playsteps in October 2005 with our Church Place nursery and in 2017, Kembrey was added to the Playsteps Family.

It’s been a rollercoaster of the very best kind and Playsteps has gone from strength to strength.

It’s been a privilege to work with you Chris, now, switch off your alarm, rest and enjoy every single well earned moment. ❤️ ❤️

Happy Fathers Day to all the special men in our little ones lives ❤️

We currently have a temporary cook / lunch cover position.

Preparing lunch and tea for between 16 and 26 children per day.

Hours of work are 10-1 Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will need an Enhanced DBS check, references and a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate.

This position is likely to be for 10 weeks but this may be extended.

Previous cooking experience is preferable but full training will be given.

⭐️ PLAYSTEPS NURSERY KEMBREY PARK ⭐️

We are looking to expand our team, if you are Early Years Qualified to Level 3 or above we would love to hear from you if:

You have a warm, smiling face that makes every child feel special and loved.

You are able to laugh at jokes that you don’t understand, or you don’t find funny.

You have the acting skills of an Oscar nominated Hollywood star, especially when asked to be a superhero/ The Gruffalo/George from Peppa Pig

You have a detailed knowledge of Frozen, Every Superhero... ever, Peppa Pig... and the ability to name any dinosaur.

You are able to rapidly and correctly count the heads of numerous moving heads.

You have an excellent working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and a key focus on child protection and safeguarding.

You have the ability to work in a team of to deliver excellent care and education.

You have been qualified to at least level 3 and working in a setting for at least 2 years.

You do or are willing to subscribe to the DBS Update service.

You are First Aid qualified or are willing to take a course.

Playsteps is committed to safeguarding and promoting the well being of children and young people and expects all our staff to share this commitment.

This role is 40 hours per week over 4.5 or 5 days per week on an all year round basis with 28 days per year holiday.
