🤩Courses and Events coming up with FS 1st Aid Training!

👉Available to individuals, businesses, schools, clubs, volunteer groups, The Pony Club, The Scouts, Girlguiding, etc. You can come to our venue, or we can come to you.

💝We support SCHOOLS with 1 hour face to face training sessions for up to 40 staff at a time towards BENEDICT'S LAW – limited availability before September so get in contact with us to book your staff in for their mandatory training!

• August 5th 2026 we will be providing a FREE demonstration of infant CPR and choking treatment alongside Christ Church breastfeeding support group at Christ Church community centre in Old Town, Swindon, SN1 3HB. No booking required, just turn up.

• August 19th 2026 we will be at St Bartholemew’s and All Saint’s church hall in Royal Wootton Bassett, SN4 7BW with Bassett Breasties breastfeeding support group. Giving a FREE demonstration of infant CPR and choking. No booking required just turn up.

• September 21st 2026 we have spaces available on our Essential First Aid 2.5 hour course held at Queens Wellness Hub, Nexus Business Centre, Swindon, SN2 2PN. Start 9AM.
o This covers-CPR (adult, child & infant) and use of a defibrillator. Great as refresher of if you just want to learn to save a life!

• September 21st 2026 we have spaces available on our Foundation First Aid-4 hour course held at Queens Wellness Hub, Nexus Business Centre, Swindon, SN2 2PN. Start at 12PM.
o This covers-CPR (adult, child & infant), defibrillator, choking, recovery position, bleeds & burns.

• September 29th 2026 we have spaces on our Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) one day course. Held at Queens Wellness Hub, Nexus Business Centre, Swindon, SN2 2PN. Start at 9AM.
o This course is HSE compliant.
o Suitable for any business that does not require the FAW-three day course.
o We cover chid & infant CPR as standard, not just adults.

• October 2nd 2026 we will have a stand at the BWI (Business Women In) Big Event at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel in West Swindon. Pop in and see what else is happening and come and say hello!

• October 11th 2026 we have a stand at the Autumn Gather and Glow Wellness & Retail Showcase held by Queens Wellness at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel in West Swindon. There will be many different stands, demonstrations, etc and tickets are only £2.50 to attend.

🤩We also provide first aid courses specifically for children 4 years upwards which can be delivered in schools, nurseries, clubs, groups, etc. If you would like to know more about this, check out my website or contact me for further information on Mini Heroes!

Free local in-person feeding support, from 20th to 26th July 2026:

Monday 20th - West Swindon Family Hub at Toothill Church, with breastfeeding support from 10am until 11:30am, and a talk on baby brain development, from 12pm until 1pm

Monday 20th - Wiltshire Breastfeeding Support, at the Family Hub, in Trowbridge, from 1:30pm until 2:30pm

Tuesday 21st - Birthworks Independent Midwife, at Church Cottage in Marlborough, from 10am until 11:30am

Tuesday 21st - Cricklade Breastfeeding Friends at United Church Hall, alongside the free Bounce & Rhyme group, from 1:45pm until 3pm

Wednesday 22nd- Breastmates, at Community Centre at Christ Church Swindon, from 12pm until 2pm

Wednesday 22nd - Bassett Breasties at the Croft Church, in Royal Wootton Bassett, from 1pm until 3pm

Wednesday 22nd - Devizes, Melksham and Calne Breastfeeding Support, at the Lansdowne Strand, in Calne, from 1pm until 2:30pm

Thursday 23rd - IBCLC Elena Rossi's Open House, in West Swindon, from 10am until 1pm (to book your place text Elena on 07733609660)

Friday 24th - Devizes, Melksham and Calne Breastfeeding Support, at Optimum Corner, in Devizes, from 1pm until 2:30pm

Other than Elena's Open House all groups are run as drop-in sessions, with no need to book. But if you need support, please do try to arrive at least half an hour before the group finishes, to ensure you have time with a supporter

SAVE £££ ON HERBAL FEED SUPPLEMENTS!

You can buy a measly 600 g of a combination of single, commonly available herbs for your horses for around £50 from a company who are good at marketing and use jazzy AI pictures on their website OR

You could buy the same herbs for a fraction of the price from a reputable supplier online, like the buywholefoodsonline store, or a reputable horse herb supplier like Hilton Herbs.

Progressive Earth are another good supplier of herbs, at slightly larger quantities (but they may have a good shelf life and work out a good long term buy anyway).

I'm getting quite irritated by the greedy companies online who are ripping off horse owners wanting to do the best for their horses, with extortionate mark ups and/or ridiculous health claims.

It might be the heat but honestly, I am getting increasingly grumpy about this.
