This evening's practice, looking at spotting targets, choosing how and where to strike. We are often confused about the next best movement, but it should flow from releasing your own tension. If you have moved your opponent properly, their weakness should appear.

Last weeks lesson, looking into the origins of the Kihon Happo, using Arnaud Couserge video work and the book by Soke, Unarmed Fighting Techniques Of The Samurai. Looking to the book and the subsequent video, many adaptations of Sokes original thinking have happened. It is still useful to work on the older ideas, they show an amazing understanding of human movement. These are not easy things to work on!
