To support our Eco schools actions
The children participated in a recycling tray activity where they explored different recyclable materials such as paper, cardboard, plastic, and metal. They were encouraged to sort the items into the correct recycling categories, helping them develop their understanding of recycling and environmental responsibility. The activity promoted problem-solving skills, observation, and discussions about reducing waste and protecting our planet.
The children also took part in a sea life activity using rubbish and recycled materials. They creatively transformed items such as plastic bottles, bottle caps, cardboard, and packaging into sea creatures and ocean habitats. This hands-on activity encouraged imagination, creativity, and fine motor skills while raising awareness of how litter can affect marine life.
Through discussions and exploration, the children learned the importance of keeping oceans clean and recycling materials to help protect sea animals and their habitats.
Both activities provided valuable opportunities for the children to learn about sustainability, environmental care, and the positive impact they can have on the world around them.
