🎉🤠 You’ve Got a Friend in Haydonleigh! 🤠🎉

Today we celebrated Haydonleigh Primary School’s 30th Birthday with a fantastic Toy Story-themed party!

We were delighted to welcome Haydonleigh’s very first Headteacher, Mr Swaffield, who shared the wonderful story of Lucky, the Haydonleigh cat, 🐈‍⬛ and how this much-loved symbol became part of our school’s history.

The day was filled with fun, laughter and special memories as we came together to sing Happy Birthday and “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” – the perfect song to celebrate the friendships and community spirit that make Haydonleigh such a special place.

As we look back on 30 amazing years, we are proud of all that has been achieved and excited for the future ahead.

🎉 Our Purrfect Start Pre-School children have now received their Reception Transition Bags, kindly provided by The White Horse Federation.

Each bag is filled with fantastic resources to help children get ready for starting school in September.

A huge thank you to The White Horse Federation for supporting our children as they begin their school journey. We can’t wait to welcome everyone in September! 💙

Congratulations to our fantastic Year 2 children, who represented the school brilliantly at the Quad Kids event yesterday. Throughout the day, they demonstrated excellent teamwork, determination and encouragement towards one another, giving their very best in every event. Their positive attitudes and hard work were rewarded with an outstanding achievement, finishing 1st place overall. We are incredibly proud of every child for the way they supported each other and represented Haydonleigh so well 🏆👏

Reaching new heights in Year 4…
Our pupils showed fantastic resilience, determination and courage as they tackled the climbing wall challenge earlier this week. From first footholds to reaching the top, they really gave it their all—we couldn't be prouder!

We were delighted to welcome Will Stone MP to our school today!

🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️ Our School Council had the opportunity to ask some fantastic questions about becoming an MP, representing the people of North Swindon and how young people can make a positive difference in their communities.

🌟 We are incredibly proud of how confidently and thoughtfully our pupils represented the school.
