Upcoming Non-Uniform Days! ☀️

At Abbey Meads, we are always proud of how our school community comes together to demonstrate cooperation and support for one another. As we look forward to our upcoming Summer Fayre, we have two exciting non-uniform days coming up to help us prepare!

In exchange for wearing their own choice of clothes on these days, we kindly ask that children bring in a small donation to support our Summer Fayre Tombola:

🍫 Friday 26th June: In exchange for coming in non-uniform, please bring a donation of sweets or chocolate.
🥤 Friday 3rd July: In exchange for coming in non-uniform, please bring a donation of a bottle of alcohol or a soft drink.

Please note that to ensure the safety and enjoyment of everyone in our community, all edible and drink donations must be fully in-date.

Thank you in advance for your kindness, responsibility, and ongoing support in making this year's Summer Fayre a wonderful event for all our children.

This week in PE, Maple Class have been focusing on their tennis skills and reaction times.

It is wonderful to see our children engaged in a rich curriculum that challenges them to become confident, successful learners both inside and outside the classroom.

We are incredibly proud of all our children who represented Abbey Meads at the Blue Kite Academy Trust Games on Monday! Not only did they deliver some fantastic performances in their races, but they also demonstrated exemplary sportsmanship and team spirit.

Sponsored Bounce-a-thon!

On Friday 19th June 2026, Abbey Meads children are taking part in a sponsored Bounce-a-thon!

We are proud to be raising vital funds for Wiltshire Treehouse, a fantastic local charity providing bereavement support to children and young people in Swindon and Wiltshire.

Our children will be testing their determination to see how many bounces they can achieve and how high they can jump—all to support a truly worthwhile cause.

What a busy and brilliant start to the term! A huge congratulations to all our wonderful children—especially our Year 6s, who showed incredible determination and focus during SATs week. We are immensely proud of you all.

Our Year 6 children have been showcasing fantastic resilience as they master the technical skills of the triple jump and hurdles. It is wonderful to see them embracing new challenges with such determination and supporting one another to achieve their personal best.

A massive well done to all our Year 6 children for completing their SATs this week. You have shown incredible focus and maturity.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to our parents, carers, and especially our dedicated staff; your unwavering hard work and determination have been the foundation of our children’s success.

Rowan Class have been exploring the wonders of the garden. After reading The Enormous Turnip, the children showcased their dedication and focus by creating these beautiful textured collages.

Through this topic, we are encouraging our children to understand where our food comes from and the importance of healthy choices, We are proud of the responsibility and care they took with their artwork.
