A great infographic on how parents can support their children at home. I would like to add that it is helpful to practice in a quiet environment (a room free from distractions such as TV and video games for the duration of the practice).

Good luck to all those who have performed in the Swindon music festival so far. This evening has been wonderful listening to some very talented musicians showcasing their hard work.
Tomorrow is the Instrumental Final starting at 6.30pm at the Swindon art centre in Old Town. If you are going I look forward to seeing you there! Fiona 😊

My brother who is currently studying at a Trinity College London is playing the Viola in the Swindon recital series this Wednesday (11th February) At 1.05pm at the Wyvern theatre and is being accompanied by Paul Turner. His programme includes Bridges Lament for Two Violas, Schumann's romantic Marchenbilder (Fairytale pictures) and Hindemith's sonata for viola and piano.
If anyone can make it it would be lovely to see you there.
Tickets are £5 and are available on the door.
