With students ranging from 6 to 78, there is no age limit to start learning! Consultation Lesson
****************
It is important that you find the right teacher for you, whether that is motivation or personality. Also it is important for me as a teacher to find out what sparks your interest in music, to help plan the best approach to your lessons. I feel that this is best achieved in a discussion
face to face and is why I offer a free 1/2 hour consultation lesson to discuss what motivates you/the student to apply for lessons. Music Exams
**********
For those who wished to go down the route of exams, I previously taught the ABRSM syllabus in London for over 8 years, achieving excellent results with all of my students, including 100% pass rate for both practical and theory. My style of teaching encourages the students to explore and learn the music they love, as well as introduce other forms of music they would not have have chosen to study. I feel that this nurturing enables them to feel proud of what they have achieved and boosts self confidence. Accompanist
**********
For music exams or music festivals with other instruments, I can rehearse with the student prior to their performance and then play at the examination centre/festival. However, I find that for the best results, more than one rehearsal should take place as the student gains in confidence by getting used to playing with a piano and we can go to the examination centre/festival as a 'team'. Also with extra rehearsal time for exams, I can go through areas of the exam which the student may feel less confident about such as sight reading and aural tests. Other Requests

Other requests include support with music coursework for GCSE and BTEC. I am also a performer and play for private parties, birthdays etc. with a mixture of classical, jazz and popular music.
