Ridgeway Farm CE Academy

Just a reminder for Olive Tree families that we have our first Forest School session with Miss Mitchard tomorrow afternoon! Children are welcome to wear their PE kits to school but need to bring a change of clothing for the Forest School lesson (something that you don't mind getting muddy!).

Pear Tree have had a wonderful time this afternoon cutting, juicing and tasting different fruits! They are really looking forward to using these DT skills next week when they make their smoothies!

Well done to our athletes for their determination, resilience and excellent sportsmanship while representing the school today. They supported and encouraged one another throughout the event, showing fantastic team spirit.

We are incredibly proud that Key Stage 2 achieved a well-deserved second place in the competition. Congratulations to everyone involved!

Don’t forget, everyone, only a few more days till we complete our Ridgeway £10 challenge! Thank you so much to everyone who has already sent in their donations and photos of their amazing fundraising. We are so proud of you! Keep it coming in!

🏅 Sports Week 2026 🏅

Last week was our Sports Week and what a fantastic week it was! The children demonstrated excellent sportsmanship, determination and teamwork throughout every event.

From tag rugby and field events to the final Sports Day races, it was wonderful to see so many children taking part, encouraging one another and giving their very best.

A huge well done to all of our children for representing their houses so positively and showing our school values throughout the week.

Congratulations to Beech House, who were crowned our overall Sports Week winners!

Thank you to all of the staff, parents and supporters who helped make the week such a success.

Mrs Bellis has been very busy baking this weekend for our Ridgeway Farm £10 challenge for Wiltshire Treehouse.

Miss Woodhouse and Miss Braid will be selling these delicious bakes (chocolate chunk shortbread cookies, M&M cookies, M&M brownies and Terry’s Chocolate Orange brownies) outside Peach Tree class at 3:15 tomorrow (Monday 8th June). All bakes £1. Please bring the correct change where possible!

Olive Tree had a fantastic morning completing their Junior Good Citizen programme yesterday. They represented our school brilliantly, demonstrating excellent behaviour, enthusiasm, and teamwork throughout the day.

The children took part in a variety of engaging workshops and learnt lots of valuable skills and important safety messages. We are very proud of how they conducted themselves and the positive attitude they showed throughout the experience. Well done, Olive Tree! 🌟

A huge well done to Henry and Janani for their fantastic speeches today at the Council Chambers in front of the Mayor.

They represented our school with confidence and pride and were a real credit to our school. We are incredibly proud of them both! 👏⭐

A reminder that it is Sports Week, so children should come to school in their PE kits all week.

Please also ensure your child brings their coloured T-shirt in their bag. These will definitely be needed for Sports Day on Friday, but may also be required for field events during the week if the weather allows.
