🥚🔍 A GIANT MYSTERY HAS LANDED AT SCHOOL! 🔍🥚

Our children arrived this morning to discover something truly extraordinary on our school site… a GIANT, mysterious egg! 👀🥚

Classes visited the incredible discovery to investigate, observe and share their ideas. Who or what could have left it there? Where has it come from? And what could possibly be inside?

The giant egg has provided the perfect inspiration for our WOW writing experience, and we can’t wait to see the wonderful stories our children create from this mysterious discovery. 📖 South Marston Pre-School

🌍📚 READ AROUND THE WORLD! 📚🌍

We’re delighted to launch our exciting new Read Around the World initiative! ✈️🌎

The idea is simple: the more you read at home, the further around the world you travel! 📖🌍

As our pupils build up their reading, each milestone represents a different country. Along the way, they’ll be able to collect stickers, badges and certificates to celebrate their achievements and show just how far they’ve travelled. 🗺️🏅🎖️

📖 Remember to record your reading at home in your child’s reading record. This will provide the evidence needed for children to progress through the different countries. Reading records will be checked regularly in school, so please make sure that home reading is recorded consistently.
