The competition brief challenged students to design an outfit for a celebrity of their choice to wear to the Met Gala and create a toile to bring their concept to life. Scarlett chose to design for badgalriri

Scarlett wowed the judges with her stunning design featuring a beautifully fitted dress paired with a flowing loose skirt & 3D elements. Her project demanded exceptional precision, accuracy, and attention to detail, transforming her initial mood boards into a striking finished garment.

This fantastic achievement is a testament to Scarlett’s creativity, technical skill, and dedication throughout the design process. 🌟

As well as earning first prize, Scarlett also received a lovely prize set of shears and other sewing essentials to celebrate her success!
