Just before the Easter Holidays, four of our Year 5 pupils participated in the Blue Kite Debating Competition. This event brought together schools from across the trust, and in front of an audience the children had to articulate arguments as well as counterarguments with clarity and confidence. The children did brilliantly and we are thrilled to announce that Robert Le Kyng emerged as runners-up!

Last week we received a letter, from Bridget Phillipson, Secretary of State for Education, congratulating all staff at Robert Le Kyng for work supporting disadvantaged pupils. Their achievements placed us amongst the best nationally. Hard word, ambition, commitment as well as building strong communities around ALL our children, with parents too, means we continue to help our children strive to achieve their full potential academically and personally.
