We’ll be enjoying all our usual forest school activities, including:

🐝 Did you know that bumblebees are some of nature’s most important pollinators?

These incredible little insects help pollinate many of the plants, fruits, vegetables, and wildflowers that we rely on every day. Despite their fluffy appearance, bumblebees are hardworking creatures that can fly in cooler temperatures and even see ultraviolet patterns on flowers that are invisible to us!

At Green Trees Forest School, we love helping children discover the amazing world around them. From watching bees at work to learning about habitats, wildlife, and conservation, every outdoor adventure is an opportunity to connect with nature and develop a lifelong appreciation for our environment.

Next time you see a bumblebee, take a moment to watch it work. You might be surprised by just how fascinating these tiny creatures really are!

🌿🦒 What a fantastic day at Toddler Forest School! 🦒🌿

Today was packed full of fun, exploration, creativity and adventure. Our little learners enjoyed making their own toy figures from elder wood, using nothing more than natural materials, a few simple tools and lots of imagination.

One of the highlights of the morning was Kelly the Giraffe, lovingly created by one of our amazing children. It’s always wonderful to see young imaginations come to life and to watch children take pride in their creations.

Forest School is all about giving children the freedom to explore, create, problem-solve and build confidence through play in the natural world. Every session is different, with new opportunities to discover, learn and make lasting memories.

Looking for an adventure for your little one?

This week at Green Trees Forest Schools, our toddlers will be enjoying paint, tools, nature play and plenty of woodland fun!
