Nonverbal children, use signs to communicate or a vision board is used. Allergies I use a NOW & NEXT board for visual use as this
helps the children to have a full understanding of what is happening within the setting. Golden rules are pictures to explain what we SHOULD & SHOULD’NT do. I am an early years educator - DSL - First Aider - BSP- SENCo for my small setting. I except 2yrs /3-4yr old funding

GardeningHome grew foods/harvesting your own foods. Reports are given out three times a year to Children in the EYFS. Children are observed regularly & parents are kept informed of their daily progress with WhatsApp. You are informed every time your child has his/hers nappy changed. Children have a six week setting in period, after six weeks, I will begin a IPP, this will then be put in place & reviewed every 4-6 weeks. Children also have the next steps progress chart, reviewed regularly. I work closely with speech & language - SBC SENCo and other professionals. I help assist families with EHAP. I can support families to gain an EHC if the child needs extra support before starting a school setting. I can support families with half-term activity packs. I am open 50 weeks of a year. I am CLOSED the first two weeks of August (every year). This is paid holiday. This only applies to all-year-round families. Policies and procedures will be given to you when agreeing to childcare. You must keep this booklet safe for future reference. When agreeing to terms & conditions, you will be required to pay 50% off your fee upfront to keep your child’s space available until you have a starting date where you pay the remaining amount before your child starts. If you are a funded child your activation code must be given to me in advance. There is a 4 week notice period before you can go to any other setting, meaning funding will be claimed by myself until 4 weeks is up. This is also in your funding contract. I like to use this page for my parents/carers to use. Not only do they have their child's daily diaries to use but also have this page to see any upcoming events. You have a private group message on WhatsApp where photos and videos are uploaded throughout the day for you to have snippets of their day. There are NO pick-ups from schools, this service is no longer unavailable. There are also reviews so parents can read through. Over time this page will enable me to see my growth of my business but most of all my ability to teach. I therefore can keep an eye on my own progress which will only benefit us all. Lunches can be provided with an extra cost. Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene completed. NO photographs of your children's faces will be put onto social media, an emoji will be placed over the face to cover their identity. This is to safeguard the children in my setting. I will not TAG any parents in any photo and I ask that you don't either.
