The children have been very busy making poppy keyrings this week. If you would like to purchase one we will be selling them outside our nursery on Oxford Road for a £1 donation to The Poppy Appeal.

Our Preschool Room is a large open room with direct access into the garden.

The Trees, Oxford Road is a loving, caring and clean environment for all children aged 3 months to 11 years. We aim to provide the best possible care to your little ones with all the extras they need to support their individual needs.

Our Preschool room is led by our Assistant Manager with a Degree in Early Childhood Studies. She aims to ensure all children excel and achieve school readiness by giving them the opportunities to learn at their own pace.

Our 0-2 year olds have the freedom of the top floor of our setting with plenty of space to explore.

The unit has the provision to divide off as required with younger and more able children.

Children can sleep on their schedule following home routines in our separate sleep room and parents have the privacy to feed their babies.

The nursery provides all milks, nappies and creams for our little ones.

We are a home from home setting.

We are a family run nursery open from 7am until 6pm Monday to Friday with availability until 630pm when requested.

The upstairs of our setting is home to our 3 to 26 month old children spread across 4 large play rooms. Each room is designed to meet their developing learning needs and to encourage independence. Children in this area have a separately monitored sleep room to enable them to nap on their schedule. The nursery supplies all nappies, creams and wipes and staff are well trained in supporting parents with potty and toilet training needs. The play rooms are lovingly managed by our Level 5 Early Years practitioner with ample experience in the care of little minds.

On the ground floor we have 2 incredible spaces which are home to our 24 to 38 month olds and 36 month to school age children. Both rooms have separate toilet facilities with access to nappy changing. Our Level 6 Early Years Educator supports the children and staff to develop their learning potential. The staff aim to get every child ready for school by encouraging them in all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage and enabling them to achieve what each of them are ready to achieve.

All children have access to our 5 garden spaces with options to dig, explore, build, grow, and ride. We also have 2 lovely play parks, several open play fields and 2 shopping parks within walking distance.

We also have a separate cafe room where children have access to learn to cook, bake and handle food safely.

The nursery collects and drops off children at Colebrook Infants and Juniors.

Our Manager has worked for the company for 9 years and has ample experience, knowledge and motivation to enable the setting to adapt to each child’s needs. Her aim is to provide a home from home for all children and to support families as requested.

Our setting has strong safeguarding policies in place with the manager working closely with local advisors to ensure all children are kept safe.
