Thanks Mike, always a pleasure to draw! Lovely set of poses. This months life drawing session took place a week early due to the bank holiday, so thank you to all who came to make another special evening. We’re on again at the end of September (Monday 28th 6:30-8:30 pm - booking now open via the website (link in bio) £24 includes all materials plus refreshments and CAKE. Everyone welcome. Also, if you prefer drawing faces we’re here every Monday evening with portrait session. And,, one more thing - COMING SOON,,, clothed figure drawing workshops will be held during the daytime so watch this space for details! 🐸🎨

Looking back over the year so far,, getting ready for a new start, kids about to go back to school, freshening up all round. Just wanted to take this opportunity to show off some more of the kids masterpieces. If you want to encourage creativity in your child - let us teach them proper art skills using decent materials. Booking open now for September onwards,, Wednesdays, Fridays 5-6 & 6:30-7:30, Tuesday afternoons Home Ed and Saturday Teen art club. Always something different at M**s,, we got the spray paints out and introduced the kids to a cool way of creating contemporary art. Needless to say they loved it (and it was water based and non-toxic!!) We’re encouraging creativity and teaching proper art skills with decent materials-if you want your child to have a go, bring them along to one of our many art groups -Wednesdays & Fridays after school 5-6 & 6:30-7:30, Tuesday afternoons 2-4 pm Home-ed session -(Arts Award training available on request) or Saturday Teen arts Club 12-4 pm check out the website for more info and booking :D 🐸

DATE CHANGE!!! This months life drawing will take place this Monday evening 24TH August 6:30 - 8:30 pm (NOT 31st bank holiday) I haven’t changed the booking form as its a massive hassle so please use the portrait booking link on the website if you’re booking in advance, alternatively just drop me a message and pay on the night. Everyone welcome, beginners - professionals, no judging. Small friendly group. Costs £24, includes all materials, refreshments and CAKE! See you there :D 🐸

12-4 pm Saturdays at the caff belong to the teenagers who come to art club. We literally hand over the space for them to socialise and get creative. Access to all the art materials, milkshakes and snacks! This isn’t a taught session- no adult/ teacher interference, but it works! Look at the art produced,,, incredible kids - so proud of you all! I wanted to show off these drawings that have been completed during our portrait sessions. Not one of them has taken more than 50 minutes and many took less than 20! I’m so proud of everyone’s progress. None of the artists are professional, in fact we get together once a week to relax, sit and draw. It just goes to show what can be accomplished with a little practice and determination. I’m thinking of arranging a short course for absolute beginners so if you’d like to learn how to draw faces and figures please get in touch.,, meanwhile if you’d like to join us, we’re here every Monday evening from 6:30-8:30 pm - costs just £24 includes all materials, refreshments and cake.
