π₯ Great when clubs work together in our Taekwon-Do family.
International Tae Kwon DO Council and Absolute Taekwondo Association ATKDA Founder Master John McNally today conducted a Black Belt Grading for Mr Richard Monkcom of TKD4Life. A big thank you to Master McNally and Mr Monkcom for inviting Sovereign Taekwon-Do Organisation Black Belts to attend the pre-grading. It was a fantastic opportunity to train together and share our passion for Taekwon-Do.
For Sovereign, it was also a special day as Mrs Leanne Lolley successfully completed a Pre-Grading in preparation for her October 6th degree Black Belt Grading. One down, two more to go! π
A great afternoon of TKD, friendship, learning and teamwork.

π₯ Learning Beyond Your Home Club
Last week, some of our students visited TKD4Life for additional training and the opportunity to experience a different training environment.
Training with other clubs is a valuable part of martial arts development. It allows students to work with different training partners, experience different teaching approaches, and adapt to new situationsβimportant skills both in Taekwondo and in everyday life.
Stepping outside familiar surroundings helps build confidence, resilience, and a broader understanding of our art. It also reminds us that learning never stops, regardless of grade or experience.
Thank you to TKD4Life and Mr Richard Monkcom for their hospitality and for providing a positive training experience for our students.
A black belt is a white belt who never stopped learning.

π Weβre delighted to announce that Sovereign TKD has achieved the Safeguarding Code in Martial Arts Mark.
This recognition reflects our ongoing commitment to providing a safe, supportive, and positive environment for all our members.
Achieving the Safeguarding Code demonstrates that Sovereign TKD has met nationally recognised safeguarding standards, giving parents and carers confidence when choosing a martial arts club for their children.
We would also like to acknowledge the role that Taekwondo Council UK - TCUK has played throughout this journey. As a recognised National Governing Body, TCUK provides its member clubs with clear safeguarding frameworks, guidance, and support, which greatly assists clubs in achieving and maintaining high standards of safeguarding and governance.
Thank you to our instructors, volunteers, students, and families for their continued support and commitment to making Sovereign TKD a safe and welcoming place to train.
π₯ Together, we continue to raise standards across our martial arts community.
