This is a fantastic opportunity for our children and young people to explore a wide range of books, there will be something for everyone 📖

Sixth form are having their first Careers Week in June and we would love to offer a wide variety of sessions for students to sign up to depending on their interests.

If you have a job you would like to come in and talk about, run some activities linked to it so students can experience aspects of your role, or even offer a site visit to where you work, we would love to hear from you 🙂

This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire and guide our students as they start thinking about their future pathways.

Swindon Dance are delighted to be working with Anjali Dance Company this coming February half term to deliver creative workshops to young people with additional learning needs. The workshops are FREE to attend thanks to our one-year funding pot from Nationwide, all we ask is that you sign up using the link below to secure your young persons place.

SALTO! YOUTH - 8-12YRS - Wednesday 18 February 2026 - 1-5pm @ Eastcott Community Hall, Savernake St, Swindon SN1 3LZ

SALTO! SENIORS 13-19YRS - Thursday 19 February 2026 - 10am-3pm @ Christ Church Community Centre, Cricklade St, Swindon SN1 3HG

SALTO! STEPS 15-21YRS - Friday 20 February 2026 - 10am-3pm @ Christ Church Community Centre, Cricklade St, Swindon SN1 3HG

PLEASE NOTE: Due to half term activities, the above sessions are not being held at Swindon Dance. Instead they are at locations in the surrounding area. Please make a note of the addresses listed above. Both venues have parking for drop off and pick ups.

The workshops offered will be led by learning disabled artists from Anjali Dance Company, supported by our regular Swindon Dance team so there will be many familiar faces there on the day! If you would like to find out more about Anjali please head to their website here.

Our students have been learning about different jobs in their Work and Careers lessons and really enjoyed finding out about the role of a dog walker!

A huge thank you to our staff, parents/carers, and students for their wonderful support. Thanks to everyone’s efforts, our Sixth Form raised over £200 at their fantastic Winter Wonderland Fayre. Congratulations to our Sixth Form — we’re sure they will enjoy deciding how to spend the funds raised!
