UTC Swindon caters for 600 students aged 14 to 19, providing courses for young people who aspire to a career in engineering. Students at the college can gain the skills necessary across all sectors of the engineering industries. UTC Swindon is run by a trust sponsored by Johnson Matthey Fuel Cells and Oxford Brookes University. There are over 90 different industry partners involved with the Univer

sity Technical College. As part of the original Great Western Rail works, the UTC Swindon site creates a link between the historic engineering and the engineering future of the local area, with the Old School Building and the iconic Water Tower featuring prominently. Both structures, which are Grade II listed, were treated sympathetically, with the Water Tower being restored and brought back into educational use. We've had some incredible stories from our student on here at UTCSwindon:
🏆 Mohammed achieved a Level 2 Distinction in Manufacturing
🏆 Dinaak secured 7s, 8s, and 9s across the board
🏆 Russeau passed a whopping 12 GCSEs including a 7 & 8 in French and Spanish which he took independently.
🏆 Hugh's apprenticeship with Chandlers Farm is well and truly earned, having attained everything he needed.
⭐ 100% of students passed Level 2 BTEC certificate in Esports with 85% achieving a Distinction.
⭐ 87% of students passed a Level 2 qualification in Engineering
So many students have done themselves proud today as they take the next step in life.

What a wonderful GCSE Results day at . It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces
⭐ 100% of students passed Level 2 BTEC certificate in Esports with 85% achieving a Distinction.
⭐ 87% of students passed a Level 2 qualification in Engineering
⭐ 60% of those students taking triple science achieved a grade 4 or above in GCSE Biology Chemistry and Physics
🏆 Special shout out to Jahnavi who attained a grade 8 in Further Maths
