As part of our International Women’s Day celebrations, our older pupils were inspired by a visit from Alina from Yogalina.
Alina is an entrepreneur who now runs four businesses and is passionate about holistic physical and mental health, learning, and helping others thrive.
She shared her journey with the children, explaining how working hard at school helped her build the foundations for success and how failing is ok - in fact necessary - for growth and builds resilience! The important thing is to get back up! Pupils were particularly fascinated to hear about the brave decision she made to leave her successful career as a banker in London to start her own businesses.
We know many of our pupils are curious about entrepreneurship and creating their own ideas, so Alina was a fantastic role model for them to learn from. To build on this interest, we have also recently added new books about entrepreneurship and innovation to our school library.
Alina also taught us two breath work practices today one for calming anxiety and another for building energy and focus.
A huge thank you to Alina for taking the time to inspire our pupils ! ♥️💪
