✨Latest Newsletter & Welcome from our Interim Headteacher✨

As I take up my role as Interim Headteacher at Churchward School, I wanted to take the opportunity to introduce myself to you. It is an enormous privilege to have joined such a vibrant and ambitious community and I am both excited and honoured to be leading the school for the rest of the school term.

I very much look forward to meeting many of you in this academic year and to getting to know our wonderful students.

We look forward to welcoming our students back to school on Tuesday, 6th January. Please note that Monday, 5th January is a TD Day and the school will be closed to all students.

⚽️ SEND Football Tournament – A Day to Remember! 🏆

We’re so proud of the incredible students from Churchward School who took part in a recent SEND football tournament, showing off not just their football skills but amazing teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship! 👏

It was a fantastic day filled with energy, smiles, and plenty of goals — and our students represented the school with pride and passion. A huge well done to everyone who took part, and thank you to all the staff and organisers who made the day such a success! 💙

Once again, Churchward School proudly joined the global initiative of Safer Internet Day (even though we celebrate it all week long), working with students from Key Stages 3, 4, and 5 to equip them with essential skills to navigate the digital world safely.

Our wonderful staff members always go the extra mile...just look at some of the fantastic World Book Day costumes they wore!
