ACE Out Of School Club Limited

📕For World Book Day this week we did a Where’s Wally trail! 📕

The children had to find the book characters around the playground, collect the letters and decipher the word they spelt!

Well done to all the children for finding them all and working out they spelt Wally! 😃

The games table has been a welcome new addition at breakfast and after school club this term and proved very popular with all ages, especially the KS2 children!
We’ve all also learnt just how quickly our competitive sides can come out for both the children and staff, especially when against each other! 🤣

We hope everyone has a lovely half term and are looking forward to round two, Monday 23rd February! 😃

Pics 1-3 making our new display ‘Blasting into 2026!’

Pics 4-6 our bubble wrap fish paintings 🐠 (which turned into all sorts of animals and aliens!)

Pics 7-9 the lego boat making challenge, the children had to build a boat that could float for 10 seconds!

Pics 10-11 we made some mini music shakers and valentine’s pictures

Finally pics 12-14 Sherlock Holmes Birthday! One of our favourite annual celebrations, this year the children had to solve the number puzzles, to get the code for the padlock and free the bear, (before the jenga fell on him!) they then had to get through the laser maze to save another bear and locate and catch the baddie before he struck again!

Messy science this Tuesday!

🧪 Looking at what is an acid and what is alkali, then mixing them together to see if they neutralised! 🧪

🎄The children were full of festive creativity this morning at Longleaze Breakfast Club! 🎄

We’ve had an amazing first two weeks of holiday club with the last day of our Longleaze weeks being bouncetastic! Big thank you to Mazz's Bouncy Castles for providing the fun with a disco bouncy castle! 😃

As Games week has ended… Book week begins! 📕

See some the highlights from last week! 😃

Last Wednesday the Bubble Master came to visit and put on a brillant bubble display for us!

The children (and staff!) all had great fun popping giant bubbles, getting bubble hair, popping and holding smoke bubbles, making a bubble inside a bubble and finally having a go a our own giant bubbles!

Holiday Club begins tomorrow!

The best days are the unplanned ones!
Last Friday the boys came up with the idea to see how many straws they could use to drink a cup of water, with the encouragement and assistance of Playworker Sam, they were straight into action, spending over an hour working on their challange and getting to around 50 straws!
The best bit was about this being the laughter, pride and achievement it gave them all and safe to say they did a great job! 😃 🥤
