Sunday 21st June 2026 marks 5 years of Solstice Sound!

We can’t believe it’s been 5 wonderful years of music, our amazing community, and watching our students grow into incredible performers.

To celebrate, we’re throwing a very special Student Summer Showcase on the exact date we first opened our doors in 2021!

Join us for an evening of live performances from our students as they take the stage and mark this milestone with us. 🎸🥁🎤

✨WINTER SHOWCASE 2025✨

A lil fashionably late to the party…but on Sunday 14th Dec, we hosted our 6th showcase!🤩

12 of our students took to the stage with a live band - some for the very first time! We had 7 drummers and 5 guitarists!🤘

It’s so wonderful to see our students hard work pay off, as they each deliver a spectacular performance!!🏆
Proud is an understatement!!🤩

Now, a few thank you’s…🙏

We’d firstly like to thank all of the students who took part - as this wouldn’t have been possible without you!🏆

We’d like to thank the parents/friends/family who supported us throughout the event! You create such a wonderful and supportive atmosphere for our students 🫶

We’d also like to thank our family and friends for helping us throughout and for running the tombola/merch stand and JJB Images // Edu Bauer Photos for capturing some awesome snaps of the night!📸

A huge thank you to Darren & the wonderful staff at The Victoria for allowing us to put this on! The Vic really is our 2nd home!🙏🏡

Lastly, we’d like to say our biggest thank you to the resident shredder in our studio band, Neil🎸
We really appreciate your time, patience, awful dad jokes and of course, epic guitar skills! 🔥Sharing this with you is an absolute pleasure!🌟

Happy New Year from Solstice Sound!🥳🎊

🌟Some highlights from 2025;
- We won “Music Studio of the Year” for the Prestige Awards South West England 24/25.
- We hosted 2 awesome student events!
- A total of 23 students took part in our student showcase events this year.
- We were nominated and shortlisted to Top 10 for “Outstanding Contribution in the Wiltshire Music Scene” and our band, Pinky & The Slapcats scored 2nd place for “Best Covers Band” at the Wiltshire Music Awards 2025.
- Approx 70 - 80 students per week between both of our tutors!
- We branched out into our first school, St Sampsons in Cricklade, offering drum tuition!
- Over 370 rehearsal sessions booked in!
- Another year of running a local jam night at The Victoria with good friends!
- Our tutors also got to play lots of awesome gigs, with some faves including Festival On The Farm, The Royal International Air Tattoo, a cowboy birthday party and some beautiful weddings!

A huuuge shoutout to all of our students, bands, friends, venues and to our huge extended musical family - we really appreciate each and every one of you and it really wouldn’t be possible without you all!💜

Here’s to 2026, our 5th year running, with some exciting things coming up reaaal soon!🥂🎊
