Friends of Even Swindon Primary School - AGM

Friday 11th September | 3:15 pm | Brunel Hall

Children are welcome and refreshments will be available.

We would love to invite all parents, carers and members of our school community to attend the Friends of Even Swindon Primary School Annual General Meeting (AGM).

The Friends (our PTA) play a vital role in supporting the school by raising funds for resources, equipment and experiences that enhance our children's education and school life. From helping to fund playground improvements and classroom resources to organising fun events for families, every contribution makes a real difference.

Being part of the Friends isn't just about fundraising—it's about building a strong school community, making new friendships and helping create memorable experiences for our children. Whether you have lots of time to spare or can only help occasionally, every little bit of support is greatly appreciated.

Our AGM is a great opportunity to:

Find out what the Friends have achieved over the past year.

Hear about our plans for the year ahead.

Meet other parents and carers.

Learn how you can get involved in a way that suits you.

Join the committee or simply offer your support as a volunteer.

We are always looking for new members and fresh ideas. No previous experience is needed—just enthusiasm and a willingness to help make a positive difference for our school community.

Whether you'd like to take on a committee role, help organise events, lend a hand on the day, or simply find out more, we'd be delighted to welcome you.

Just a reminder that we close at 1.30pm today for the Summer holidays.

A quick reminder that school and nursery close at the earlier time of 1.30pm on Wednesday the 22nd of July.

If your child is in Years 4, 5 or 6 and you would like to give them permission to walk home and have not already done so then please email [email protected] by the end of today (Mon 20th July).

Please ensure children are collected promptly at 1.30pm on Wednesday. Thank-you.☺️
