We absolutely loved partying the evening away with our incredible Class of 2026 at Jungle mania!

Now that we’ve got home, the emotions have well and truly hit, and yes… there have been a few tears ( a lot of tears)❤️

This group will always hold such a special place in our hearts. Many of them were our very first Shine Bright babies, with some even starting their journey with us at Shaw Village. Watching them grow from tiny toddlers into confident, funny, kind and school-ready children has been the greatest privilege.

The memories we’ve made together will stay with us forever. But it’s not just the children we’ll miss… we’ll miss every single one of our Shine Bright families too. The chats at the door, the laughs about parenting, the trust you’ve placed in us, and the kindness and support you’ve shown our whole team have meant more than you’ll ever know.

Thank you for allowing us to be part of your children’s story. Thank you for trusting us with your most precious little people. And thank you for giving us memories that we’ll treasure forever.

We really do have the best job in the world.

A HUGE congratulations to our superstar Ellie, who has officially achieved her Level 3 in Childcare with a Distinction! 🌟 We always knew you were brilliant… now it’s official (and framed!). We’re so proud of you!

And because one celebration clearly wasn’t enough… our very own Liv & Will have gone and got married! 💍🥂 Congratulations to the fabulous Mr & Mrs Carpenter! Last week was filled with love, laughter, dancing, happy tears… and we’re still finding confetti in places it definitely shouldn’t be. 🤭

Congratulations, Ellie, and lots of love to the new Mr & Mrs Carpenter. We’re so lucky to have such an amazing team… although we’re going to need a few quiet weeks before someone announces another wedding! 😉💛 (Or baby!)

Well… we survived! ☀️🥵😂

A massive THANK YOU to all of our wonderful Shine Bright families for bearing with us during what has felt like the surface of the sun this week! Between keeping hundreds of little humans cool, topping up water bottles every 37 seconds, chasing hats that had a mind of their own and convincing toddlers that ice cubes are not snacks … we’ve all earned a lie down! 🫠

We are so grateful for your patience, kindness and understanding. Being able to stay open and continue caring for your precious little people means everything to us, and we’re incredibly proud of our amazing team who gave 110% (despite slowly melting into the nursery floor! ❤️). well at the times we weren’t bathing in the glorious air conditioning we have!

Tomorrow is also a very special day as our lovely Liv marries her soulmate, Will! 💍✨ A few of the Shine Bright family will be swapping nursery uniforms for wedding outfits and celebrating with the happy couple, so if we’re a little quieter than usual tomorrow that’s where we’ll be! Don’t worry… we’ll be back on Monday, fuelled by wedding cake, questionable dance moves and probably far too little sleep! 😂💃

Thank you for trusting us with your children every single day. We never take that privilege for granted, and we’re so lucky to have such an incredible community around us.

This is what a family business looks like! Getting in for 6am to do everything possible to keep our babies cool. Thank you to Arran and Will for always helping us family! I’ll assess the situation and the heat later but so far so good!

We’re beginning to wonder if our staff meetings should now include wedding planning and baby showers! 😂❤️

A huge congratulations to Kathryn, who has passed her Level 3 qualification with a Distinction. We are incredibly proud of all the hard work and dedication she has shown – what an amazing achievement! 🎓✨

We’ve also had two beautiful new additions to the Shine Bright family. Cath welcomed her gorgeous baby boy Finley, and Jas welcomed the equally handsome Sonny. Congratulations to you both on your precious little boys – we can’t wait to watch them grow 👶💙

And if that wasn’t enough excitement, today is Megan’s wedding day! 💍✨

A huge congratulations to our beautiful bride, We wish you and Connor a lifetime filled with love, laughter, happiness and plenty of adventures together.

We spend so much of our lives at work, and one of the loveliest things about Shine Bright is being able to celebrate life’s biggest moments together. Whether it’s gaining qualifications, welcoming babies, or saying “I do”, we are so proud of every single member of our team and feel privileged to share these special milestones with them.

Congratulations, ladies – what a year you’re all having! ❤️

(Although for the sake of the rota, could everyone please stop having babies and getting married until at least September? 😂❤️)
