Windhorse Imports

Some time ago we were asked to supply some large prayer wheels to stand beside a stupa installation for the Lendrick Trust, a charity based in Scotland. We travelled to Kathmandu to commission the manufacture personally. We are pleased to learn that they have just been installed in situ. Each one is 18" tall, weighs over 20 kgs and contains a large paper prayer roll.

This was a bit unexpected. We have just had an urgent order from The BBC programme "The Repair Shop" (one of my favourite TV shows). They ordered some copper offering bowls to use in a chandelier repair. We will have to wait until next season to see if they use them.

Interesting to see these familiar streets without the crowds. I have seen it quieter - Some years ago, during the civil war, I ignored a citywide curfew and wandered alone around an empty city until I was eventually detained, and escorted back to my hotel in an army truck full of troops.
