Huge thank you to PCSO Outlaw and PCSO XU from Stratton, Central Swindon North and West Swindon Police for coming out to speak to our children today as part of our people who help us topic.

We learnt all about the different equipment they carry, the animals in the police force and even got a go in the front seat of the police car. The children started off a bit quiet but were soon joining in after they all received a sticker and were marching like police cadets. We also received some colouring sheets which the children enjoyed colouring after.

We had a fantastic World Book Day, there was a book scavenger Hunt, train themed story mat, doctor themed story tray complete with plasters and bandages, we coloured bookmarks, shared eachothers stories and finally did the conga from the book Kitchen Disco!

3 SPACES AVAILABLE FROM SEPTEMBER

Due to some of our lovely children heading off to school we will have 3 spaces available from September 2026!!

We are based out of Happy Hub in Rodbourne at our Ofsted registered setting. We are a term time only setting.

We accept 15 and 30 hour government funding for all ages and tax free payments, plus vouchers through your work scheme.

As a setting we will ensure your child has all the skills they need. We spend time socialising with other children and adults, we go on trips to experience the world around us and have lots of fun at the park building those muscles and gross motor skills.

🖋️We follow the Dough disco and squiggle programme to increase finger and body strength and enable your child to hold a pen correctly and draw with complexity, plus to create the skills the write and draw.

🔢We explore shapes and size, create patterns and learn to recognise numbers alongside being able to count.

🎨We get arty with a wide range of materials including paint, loose parts, ribbons, beads, pens, stickers and more

💃We take part in daily dance battles, yoga, music and dancing.

📖 We have a book of the week and our activities are based around it. This means the children are exposed to lots of different topics, words and language.

💕But most importantly we play & have fun!💕

We are open Tuesday to Friday 7.30am till 5.30pm TERM TIME ONLY

We had such a great Christmas party today, singing, dancing, disco lights, epic snowball fight and a party lunch!

We had a brilliant festive session with Rio from Krazy Kangas today. Thank you for a great year of sessions Rio. See you in January ❤️

We had so much fun at Swindon Story Shed today!! Jingle bells song time, stories, parachute snow blizzard, snowball fight, decorating Baubles and Christmas happyland! Thank you so much Nick, Debi and Charlie for a fantastic year of sessions. See you next year 🎄🎅❤️

Today we held our nativity at the beautiful St Augustine's Church, Even Swindon. The children did absolutely brilliantly and they sang like angels. I am so proud of them all. Thank you to all the Mummies, Daddies, Nans, Grandads, Uncles and Aunties who came to watch it was lovely to have you all. Huge thank you to Carrie at the church too for her support. Nativity 2025 complete ✅

Last week some of our children went to visit Santa, we are doing it in small groups this year so the others will be going over the next couple of weeks. Santa read them a story which they all found very funny!

We had another great session with Rio last week. The children absolutely love her coming to visit. Krazy Kangas

Another fabulous session Swindon Story Shed today. We listened to a story about a dragon who became a firefighter, made dragon pictures, sang songs and explored the books and puppets. We also had a picnic lunch out.

Today we had a teddy bear pyjama day! We started with a teddy bears picnic, learnt how to do a teddy bear roll, talked about the teddies we had brought in with us, built houses for them and made bear pictures. Thank you to all our families for your support. We had a brilliant day 🐻
