Congratulations to the students who graded at the Bristol course this weekend:
To green belt: Dan & Sean from Bridport, and Brandon, Bev, Mark & Rose from Swindon.
To blue belt: Eugene & Matt from Swindon.

Thanks to everyone who attended the course, from our clubs in Bridport, Bristol, Kendal and Swindon. If you want to practise the bokken (sword) skills taught, and lots of other techniques as well, please enquire about training times at one of these clubs.

Come to our Aikido classes, which resume on Tuesday 6th January 2026, and take place every Tuesday and Friday at The Croft Leisure Centre, Old Town, Swindon, at 7.30pm.

Beginners are welcome at any time.

Welcome to the Bristol Aikido course, which will be held on Saturday 21st October at the Riverside Gym and Leisure Club, Station Road, Bristol, BS34 6HW, from 1-4pm (set-up from 12.30pm).

Sensei Phil Bolt, 6th Dan, will host the course, and Sensei Jake Birkett, 4th Dan from the Bridport club, will also teach a portion. All are welcome.

Our Bristol club will host a course this Saturday, 15th April, at the Riverside Gym & Leisure Club, starting at 12.30pm. Cost will be £20.

Anyone is welcome to attend, beginners and existing Aikido practitioners alike, and it's also a chance to train with members of our other clubs from Bridport, Swindon and Kendal.

Great that our new beginner last night was so interested in the mental/energy focus of Aikido.

Come and learn about focussed energy tests, leading to basic and advanced techniques as you progress. No prior experience is necessary - we welcome beginners and existing Aikido practitioners alike.

Our lessons have resumed in 2022, on Tuesdays at the Croft Sports Centre in Swindon, starting at 7.30pm. We are now accepting adult (18+) beginners who want to learn more about our style of Aikido.
