Hi everyone, we have had quite a few new followers recently, so I thought I would reintroduce myself!

My name is Josie, and I am the proud owner of Baby Sensory Swindon (and Toddler Sense Swindon!)

For over 15 years, I was a Primary School Teacher working with all year groups, though my heart has always belonged to the little ones in Early Years and Key Stage One. Helping children learn, play, and discover the world is such a joy, and it is a true privilege to watch them grow and flourish.

Over the past few years, my own world has changed in the most wonderful ways! After my daughter, Charlotte, was born in 2022, I was looking for a fresh and exciting challenge, so I jumped at the chance to start Toddler Sense Swindon. Then, while I was pregnant with my little boy Oliver last year, Baby Sensory Swindon became available, so stepping in as the new owner was an absolute no-brainer!

Attending Baby Sensory classes with Charlotte introduced us to such a magical world. They quickly became the absolute highlight of our week, packed with precious bonding moments and memories we’ll treasure forever. (Even now, Charlotte still loves hearing the “Say Hello To The Sun” song!)

Knowing firsthand just how magical these classes are, I am beyond excited to open our doors and welcome you and your little ones to our warm, friendly community. Whether you’re looking to boost your baby’s development, make amazing new mum friends, or simply share some precious quality time together, our sessions are designed to be a safe, fun, and magical space for you both. We can’t wait for next week because it’s our wonderful Beach Party Summer Special! We are so excited to take your little ones on a magical beach adventure. We will be rowing our boats, having lots of fun with beach balls, exploring lovely sensory items from the beach, meeting friendly under-sea creatures, and so much more!

🍁We would love you to come and join us for 7 weeks of fun and adventure with your little one! We have classes running on Mondays at Des Moffatt Western Community Centre, Tuesdays and Wednesdays at Coleview Community Centre and on Thursdays as Freshbrook Community Centre.

🍁Our Autumn Term includes our Old MacDonald’s Farm, Surprises, Reflections and Space Adventure themes.

🍁Baby Sensory has become a well known household term, which has come from Baby Sensory, the original Baby development programme! We have this term trademarked and is well known for the OG sensory classes

🍁With over 70+ class themes, you will never attend the same class twice! Each class is specifically designed to aid different areas of development, down to the tiny details of my mat colours to the decibel of music used.

🍁My class is full to the brim of activities, both structured with props and equipment, and unstructured with a huge baby soft play area, where I open up free roam and play to both!

🍁 We have photobooths too in each of my classes to add a bit of pizazz ☑️

🍁 The little people are the boss! The classes are completely baby led so you can come and enjoy themed activities at any point of the day, during feeds and snoozes, I pride myself in being entertaining and educational for babies and grown ups!

A MASSIVE THANK YOU to all of my wonderful Baby Sensory customers for joining us this term!

It has been my very first term back from maternity leave, and you have all made it so special. I have genuinely loved every single second of being back in class, and I truly hope you and your little ones have enjoyed every moment just as much as I have.

We’ve had the best time exploring together, from discovering an under-the-sea world as Baby Pirates and showing off our best dance moves in Rock n Roll week, to reminiscing over French nursery rhymes in French Week, exploring our magical rain cloth in Singing in the Rain week, learning magical tricks to impress our babies during Magic Box week, and seeing our little ones’ incredible athletic skills during my personal favourite, Baby Olympics!

Our new term starts on Monday 7th September, and we can’t wait to see you all for more Baby Sensory adventures!

Are you looking for a fun, friendly way to get out of the house and connect with other new parents?

We are so proud to be the original Baby Sensory development programme, and this year, we are celebrating our 20th year of bringing award winning classes to parents and babies!

Our sessions are the perfect mix of developmental activities for your baby, and a warm, supportive sanctuary for you. We have so much fun together exploring incredible weekly themes, which this term are Baby Pirates, Rock n Roll week, French Week, Magic Box, Singing in the Rain, and even our very own Baby Olympics!

From spectacular light shows and baby massage to singing, signing, and themed play, it is a wonderful space to build community with local mums who truly get it. Whether you want to learn more about your baby’s milestones or just need a safe space to chat and share a reassuring laugh, we are here for you.

Our Summer Term start on 10th June until 16th July with classes running at Coleview Community Centre on Wednesdays and at Freshbrook Community Centre on Thursdays.

A huge thank you to all the wonderful parents and babies who joined me for ‘Jungle Jitters’!

As this was one of my very first sessions back since returning from maternity leave, I couldn’t have asked for a warmer welcome back to work. Thank you all so much for your support!

We had the absolute best time exploring the jungle together. From jamming along with our rattlesnake band and learning our animal signs to watching our babies explore all those interesting jungle textures and becoming bouncy monkeys! And, of course, wrapping it all up with a full jungle boogie in a sea of bubbles.

Thank you all again for making my return so magical. See you all on 10th June for more adventures!

💚 Our summer term schedule is now live and ready to book! We have some of my absolute favourite themes lined up for my first term back, including Baby Pirates, Rock n Roll, French Week, Singing in the Rain, and the Baby Olympics! 🏅

Due to my childcare arrangements, as I return to work. We are running a slightly reduced timetable for this term at Coleview and Freshbrook:

💛 Wednesdays: Coleview Community Centre

10:00 am – 11:00 am (7 to 13 months)

11:20 am – 12:20 pm (Birth to 6 months)

12:40 pm – 1:40 pm (Birth to 13 months)

2:00 pm – 3:00 pm (Birth to 13 months)

💚 Thursdays : Freshbrook Community Centre

10:00 am – 11:00 am (7 to 13 months)

11:20 am – 12:20 pm (Birth to 6 months)

12:40 pm – 1:40 pm (Birth to 13 months)

(Note: Tuesday classes will be returning in September!)
