Calling all Swindon mums with babies under 13 months!

Are you looking for a fun, friendly way to get out of the house and connect with other new parents?

We are so proud to be the original Baby Sensory development programme, and this year, we are celebrating our 20th year of bringing award winning classes to parents and babies!

Our sessions are the perfect mix of developmental activities for your baby, and a warm, supportive sanctuary for you. We have so much fun together exploring incredible weekly themes, which this term are Baby Pirates, Rock n Roll week, French Week, Magic Box, Singing in the Rain, and even our very own Baby Olympics!

From spectacular light shows and baby massage to singing, signing, and themed play, it is a wonderful space to build community with local mums who truly get it. Whether you want to learn more about your baby’s milestones or just need a safe space to chat and share a reassuring laugh, we are here for you.

Our Summer Term start on 10th June until 16th July with classes running at Coleview Community Centre on Wednesdays and at Freshbrook Community Centre on Thursdays.

A huge thank you to all the wonderful parents and babies who joined me for ‘Jungle Jitters’!

As this was one of my very first sessions back since returning from maternity leave, I couldn’t have asked for a warmer welcome back to work. Thank you all so much for your support!

We had the absolute best time exploring the jungle together. From jamming along with our rattlesnake band and learning our animal signs to watching our babies explore all those interesting jungle textures and becoming bouncy monkeys! And, of course, wrapping it all up with a full jungle boogie in a sea of bubbles.

Thank you all again for making my return so magical. See you all on 10th June for more adventures!

If you’ve been to our classes recently, you’ll know just how incredibly lucky we have been to have the wonderful Hannah running our Baby Sensory Swindon sessions while I’ve been on maternity leave. 🥰

This week was officially Hannah’s final week of teaching, and we couldn’t let her go without showing her a massive amount of love!

She has brought so much energy, passion, and pure joy to our classes every single week. I know our babies (and grownups!) are going to miss her so much, and I’m sure you’ll all join me in wishing her the absolute best for her next chapter!

✨ Such at lovely time at Sensations week! ✨

It was pure joy stepping back into the sensory room this week and seeing so many of your beautiful families! While I’m still officially on maternity leave, I absolutely loved covering classes while our wonderful Hannah enjoyed some time away. You all made me feel so incredibly welcome, and it was the best reminder of why I love what I do!

We had the best time exploring our ‘Sensations’ theme! From singing and signing to trying out floor-patting and percussion, your clever babies did so well. 🥁🎶

My absolute favourite part was after the rest-break, watching your babies all looking so mesmerised by the colourful scarf display and the black-and-white visual experience while cuddling up close with you. 🖤🤍

Thank you for bringing so much energy and joy to the sessions. I’m already counting down the days until I officially return for the summer term! ☀️

💚I’m popping out of my maternity leave bubble a little early to cover classes this week while my lovely Class Leader is away. I honestly couldn’t resist the chance to see you all again for a little “warm-up” before I officially return for the summer term!

💛Since I’ll be there, I’ve opened up some special trial sessions for this week and I would absolutely love for you to join me.

💚Our theme is ‘Sensations’ and it’s a total treat for the senses! We’ll be doing plenty of singing, signing, and percussion to lead your baby’s learning forward, followed by a gorgeous display of colourful scarves and a black and white experience that babies just adore. We even finish with a cozy cuddle and a visual show—the perfect way to ease back into things!

Due to my childcare arrangements, as I return to work. We are running a slightly reduced timetable for this term at Coleview and Freshbrook:

12:40 pm – 1:40 pm (Birth to 13 months)

2:00 pm – 3:00 pm (Birth to 13 months)

💚 I am so excited to finally be in a position where I can share some news and big changes with you, the main one being that I am officially returning from maternity leave! I am thrilled to share that I will be back running our Summer Term classes.

💛 While many of you may know me as the owner of Toddler Sense here in Swindon, or perhaps from my time running Baby Sensory over in Chippenham, I actually bought the Baby Sensory Swindon area while I was on my own maternity leave.

💚 This means that while I’ve been busy behind the scenes doing all the admin, I haven’t had the chance to meet you all in person yet! I am very much looking forward to finally getting back into the classroom and meeting you and your beautiful babies soon.

💛 I want to say a massive, heartfelt thank you to Hannah. She has done such a fantastic job leading the classes while I’ve been away, and I know she has looked after you all so well. We are so grateful for everything she has done for Baby Sensory Swindon. Thank you, Hannah, for all your hard work and for being such a brilliant part of the team.

💚 We are so excited to welcome our little ones to a brand-new term at Baby Sensory Swindon. Our very first session is a wonderful sensory adventure designed specifically to support your baby’s learning and development through a variety of sights and sounds.

💛 During the class, we will explore a world where bees buzz and birds sing while you watch your baby engage with growing flowers and the calming presence of lavender. To wrap up the session, the babies will get to enjoy our special Lavender Blue puppet show.
