Acorn Class turned into brilliant scientists during their parachute experiment! 🧪⏱️

The children designed and made different parachutes to test air resistance. Using various materials—including tissue paper and card—and varying the number of strings, they recorded precise flight times across multiple tests to rank their results.

It was wonderful to see their teamwork, curiosity, and scientific thinking in action! 🌟

A wonderful music session in Blackberry Class! 🎻🎶

The children engaged in a 'Listen and Respond' activity, reflecting deeply on how different pieces of music affect our feelings and spark our imagination. From identifying instruments to sharing their own ideas, it was fantastic to see our young learners express themselves with such confidence and enthusiasm.

Our children in Sunflower and Bellflower classes have been diving into outdoor sensory play with our water-filled tuff trays.

Through hands-on exploration, our young learners are discovering early mathematical and scientific concepts—measuring, pouring, and exploring how water behaves—while developing their fine motor skills and teamwork.

It is wonderful to see our children demonstrating curiosity, creativity, and joy as they learn through discovery together!

Brook Class showed fantastic determination and control in gymnastics.

Using their core strength and focus, the children demonstrated impressive balancing techniques, holding their positions with great precision and confidence.

It is brilliant to see our children pushing themselves, developing physical discipline, and celebrating each other's achievements as they strive for excellence in PE!

The children in Lily Class took their learning outdoors during Forest School this week.

After reading "What Do You See When You Look at Trees?", our young learners explored the natural environment to collect leaves, seeds, and feathers to create their own decorative sticky bracelets.

This hands-on session gave our children a wonderful opportunity to develop their curiosity, practice careful observation, and build an appreciation for the world around them.

Honeysuckles Class have been developing their netball skills in PE, practising a range of passing techniques including the bounce pass and chest pass. They showed great teamwork, communication and determination as they worked together to improve their accuracy and control.

Tulip Class have been getting creative this week, using clay to sculpt their very own hedgehogs! We loved seeing their imagination and artistic skills come to life in these fantastic creations. 🎨✨

Year 6 had a fantastic time celebrating Día de los Mu***os (Day of the Dead) yesterday!

They learnt all about this vibrant Mexican festival, created their own colourful masks, enjoyed traditional dancing and even sampled some tasty mocktails. A fun-filled day of culture, creativity and celebration!
