I am a fully registered childminder with spaces available now. I have 20 years experience working with children. I have BA (hons) in early years.

So I've closed the doors for the final time to Early Years children and I'm off to pastures new 😊 I'm still keeping my registration open for the few after school children I have but I will be bookkeeping full time from Sept 😀

Thankyou to everyone who has supported my business over the past 6 years, it's been amazing. I've met some lovely families and wish all the children luck for the future. Please keep in touch 😍

We started the week with a play in the left over snow 🌨️ it was so lovely in the sunshine. We had spades and the children loved digging.
We also made some bird feeders with lots of nice treats 🐦. Can't wait to see them hanging in the gardens 😊
We have enjoyed threading pasta and lots of pretend cooking amongst all the usual favourites 😍

We've had a busy month using our autumn treasure to make autumn pictures. We've done leaf printing, conker rolling and made prickly hedgehogs 🦔. We've enjoyed outside with drainpipes and a hose and Mark making with bingo blotters. We had the best fun splashing is a massive puddle and riding through it on the bikes 💦
A few halloween activities this week 🎃 before I have a few days off for half term 😊

This week we have been exploring Autumn treasures 🌰🐿️🍂🍁🍃
We've used conkers, acorns, sticks and conker husks to paint, make patterns in playdough and sort into groups. Lots of counting and talking about colours. Used all of our senses, new vocabulary and lots of imagination.
We also got the chickens out so the children could feed them and collect their eggs.

That's a very different summer holidays work over. Definitely quieter than usual but it was lovely having some of the children back who we haven't seen for a while. 😊
We've enjoyed many trips to the park, watching an exciting burst water main flood most of severn fields park was a particular highlight. Good job they had their wellies on.
Now I've got a few days off to prepare for September, get my children ready for school again and a little break away. See you all in September 😍

Lots and lots of outdoor play over the last few weeks. Definitely the weather for it ☀️
I don't formally plan, I just follow the children's interests. For example, i got the playdough out to do an activity about shapes and colours but the boys wanted to use cars to make prints with the tyres in the dough so it all changed. You know the children will learn more and really enjoy an activity if it is something they are interested in. Learning through fun and play 😊

The construction/vehicle loving boys have been in their element this week 😊
Lots more play in the construction site, i added tweezers to promote hand to eye coordination and strengthen those fingers for writing .
We took a bike ride to the road track and saw an ambulance, helicopter and aeroplane ✈ .
The boys heard a lorry outside so we put on our coats and shoes and went and watched a man unblock some drains. They were fascinated 😊
And today we went for a short walk at roves farm and saw not one but 3 tractors and we managed to see one working and get up close to another one 😁 I wonder what vehicles we will see next week!!!
