📢 NO TRAINING TONIGHT 📢

Just a reminder that there are no regular Tae Kwon Do classes tonight as we are hosting the grading at Swinderby Village Hall.

A huge good luck to everyone taking their next step on their Tae Kwon Do journey tonight. Train hard, stay focused, and give it your all – you've earned this opportunity!

Normal classes resume on Wednesday, where we'll also be celebrating everyone's grading results.

🥋🏆 Lincolnshire Championships Success! 🏆🥋

What an incredible day at the Lincolnshire Championships on Saturday, with over 300 competitors taking part from across the county!

Our students were outstanding, showing fantastic skill, determination, and sportsmanship throughout the day. We're incredibly proud of everyone who stepped onto the mats, and even prouder to bring home an amazing 9 medals! 🥇🥈🥉

We may be a small club, but we're certainly mighty! 💪 These results add to TJ TKD's growing list of achievements and show that some of Lincolnshire's top Tae Kwon Do athletes train right here in Swinderby.

🥋🏆 Good Luck to Our Competitors! 🏆🥋

This weekend, a number of our students will be competing at the Lincolnshire Championships, taking on more than 300 competitors from across the county!

They'll be testing their skills in a wide range of events including Patterns, Sparring, Speed Kicking, Flying Kicks, and Destruction. It's always a fantastic event and a great opportunity to challenge yourself, make new friends, and put all that hard work in training to the test.

Win, lose, or draw, we're incredibly proud of every student stepping onto the mats. It takes courage to compete, and you've already done the hard part by putting in the hours of training to get there.

Good luck to all our competitors – enjoy the day, do your best, and most importantly, have fun! 💪🥋

A huge congratulations to Alex, who has been awarded this month's Memorial Trophy! 👏

Alex's commitment to Tae Kwon Do is second to none. He is guaranteed to be at every lesson and is always the first to put his hand up for any extra training sessions, demonstrations, or competitions. His dedication to improving himself and supporting the club is fantastic to see.

Not only does Alex consistently attend and participate, but he always puts maximum effort into his training, approaching every lesson with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. These qualities perfectly reflect the values and Tenets of Tae Kwon Do.

This award is thoroughly deserved and recognises the hard work, commitment, and enthusiasm Alex brings to the club week after week.

We know it’s a Bank Holiday, and we know the weather’s warm… but that won’t stop us training! 💪☀️

The air conditioning will be on, the water bottles will be flowing, and to make things even more exciting… the board breaker will be making an appearance for a true test of power! 👊💥

Ben has received this award numerous times in the past and continues to set an incredibly high standard within the club. His commitment to training, endless energy, and willingness to help and encourage others truly embody all the Tenets and core values of Tae Kwon Do. 💪🥋

Whether it’s pushing himself to improve, supporting fellow students, or bringing positivity to every session, Ben consistently leads by example and is a fantastic role model for the club.

🥋👏 Huge Congratulations to Our Students on Their Recent Grading Success! 👏🥋

Continuing the celebrations of the club’s recent achievements, we want to say a massive well done to the 9 Swinderby TKD students who graded a week last Monday in Lincoln as part of a huge 55-strong grading.

Swinderby TKD continues to go from strength to strength, and we’re especially proud to say that 5 of our students have now been promoted to Red Belt — just two steps away from Black Belt! An incredible milestone and a reflection of the hard work and commitment they’ve shown over a long period of training.

We’re also delighted that all of our other students were successfully promoted, with some exceptional grading cards and fantastic feedback along the way.

We truly couldn’t be prouder of everyone who took part. You all trained hard for this, gave it your best, and earned every bit of your success. These promotions are thoroughly deserved — well done all! 💪
