Next week is fast approaching. Looking forward to seeing you all. Emails will go out in the next few days to climbers and volunteers.

Ascent event- as this is not an ISA event we have decided to change the ascent event.
We will have a ten bell work climb challenge.
Your two ropes are installed and you can set your normal climbing systems. This is not a timed portion of the event, and the systems you install are for work positioning.
The technician is available to hold or tend your ropes on the ascent.
Time starts when you leave the ground until you hit the first bell at the top of the ascent lines. Time stops for your ascent time. When you hit the bell for a second time, time starts again and you continue around the tree to ring the remaining 9 bells, time stops when you touch the landing target. The bells are all handsaw bells, so lanyard in, call a warning and ring the bell with your handsaw with two hands.

To confirm- you will not have to do the usual ISA format with set up time and back up points etc.
