*Our project call is now open with a hard deadline 🚨 of the 21st of January, keeping in mind this will be the last year for recruitment for MSc so hurry 🏃‍♂️ and make sure to get your project proposals submitted to avoid missing out*.

We have project spaces for the 2022 👀 recruitment round, with availability for 10 Engineering Doctorates 👩‍🔬 (EngD) and 10 Masters by Research 👨‍🔬 (MSc).

• Sponsoring a project will grant you a dedicated postgraduate research engineer 👷‍♀️👷‍♂️🛠📒 who will work on your project full time for the duration of the postgraduate research project.

These projects will be for both Engineering Doctorates (EngD) and Masters students, sponsoring a project will grant you a dedicated postgraduate research engineer 👷‍♀️👷‍♂️🛠 who will work on your project full-time for the duration of the postgraduate research project.

Costings for the 2022 round are:
- EngD: £10,500 + VAT per annum for each of four years.

- MSc by Research: £4,500** + VAT for one year. (**Subject to inflation increase which will therefore likely rise no more than 2% by October 2022).

Sponsoring a project will grant you a dedicated postgraduate research engineer 👷‍♂️👷‍♀️🛠📋who will work on your project full time for the duration of the postgraduate research project.

They will solve a real industrial 🏭 issue you may be facing or help to develop new products and IP for your business with full access to all the resources of Swansea University 🎓 engineering department. Greetings! 🤩 Part 1 / 2
The M2A - Materials and Manufacturing Academy has twenty project spaces for the 2022 👀 recruitment round, with availability for 10 Engineering Doctorates 👩‍🔬 (EngD) and 10 Masters by Research 👨‍🔬 (MSc). Entry for EngD projects is October 2022. This date is also preferred for MSc’s; however, projects can be accommodated to commence in January, April and July 2022.

Due to our current funding 💰, EngD projects must be focused on a research question aligned to functional coatings - see examples in the informatics below. The Master's projects remain unchanged and are very flexible in terms of project scope but must align with the field of advanced materials and manufacturing.
