Enjoyable couple of days with Greentop Community Circus Sheffield
The next phase of developing the After Schools Project with the tutor team , and attending the farewell to Teo after 10 years steering the ship !

Monday saw the end of the sixth year of health and wellbeing circus for University of 3rd Age Sandbach
We did a review of the year - most participants come for laughter and social , the bonus is skills, fitness and challenge
We played with new chinese ribbons from Oddballs Juggling shop ( a great success ) and a a split of skills Contact ball and Whip cracking !

I had the pleasure of going to London to attend the 80th Birthday party of Ian Scott Owens - known to most people as "Albert " from Albert and Friends Circus
An amazing afternoon with people explaining how Circus changed their lives, their childrens lives etc a huge exhibition of 40 years of Circus
A cabaret with a new cohort of young people, current performers and people re enacting bits of shows from 20 and 30 years ago
What a legacy to see - the impact on peoples chosen professions and parenting styles

Back from an incredible weekend in Galway
The Circus is for Everybody project included a documentary called "Take up Space" - and Saturday was the premier
The cinema was brilliant - red carpet, balloon arch , backdrops for photos
Families poured in with their children looking and feeling like film stars, Minister for education and big funders blown away by the passion and eloquence of the young people speaking and the film
A magical end to this part of Galway Community Circus journey - and all I had to do was compere the Q&A

Another week as "Artist in Residence " in Welsh schools
Interesting to work alongside class teachers and teaching assistants - looking at "Creative Mindset" being curious, imaginative, resilient, collaborative and courageous.
Designing days to build confidence and competence in speaking, teaching others solving problems
Highlights included long line skipping, balance challenges, and Earthball Games

A challenging exhilarating weekend working with the incredible Ali Wood to deliver days 4 and 5 of a Train the Trainers course for Meynell and OPAL (Outdoor Play and Learning)

We can only play in the spaces created so thanks to Meynell, OPAL and the hosts Lollards Adventure Playground

Back from the British Juggling Convention - Storm Dave threw a lot at it but a brilliant crew pulled together to support those who lost tents
Ran a couple of workshops, saw some great shows - (Gala, Youth, Fire and Solo ) and bought some new toys

Delighted to have the opportunity to work with Ali Wood again
OPAL (Outdoor Play and Learning) funded course co-ordinated by Meynell Games at a South London adventure playground

We believe it was the first train the trainers for playworkers in England for a decade = so a big room to be asked to facilitate
