And just like that… another little one is ready for big school. 🥹💔🎓
Today is such a bittersweet day as I say goodbye to this very special little boy who has been part of my childminding family since he was just 7 months old.
I honestly don’t know where those years have gone. I’ve had the absolute privilege of watching him grow from a tiny baby into the wonderful little boy he is today. ❤️
We’ve had cuddles, giggles, adventures, messy play, learning, outings, silly moments and so many memories that I will treasure forever. He has brought so much happiness into my home and has been such a special part of my days for all these years.
It is one of the hardest and most emotional parts of being a childminder — you love these little people, watch them grow, become part of their lives and them a part of your family, and then suddenly it’s time for them to spread their wings and move on to their next adventure. 🥹❤️
A huge thank you to his family for trusting me with him from such a young age and allowing me to be such a special part of his childhood. It has genuinely been an honour.
And thank you so much for the absolutely beautiful goodbye gifts — the gorgeous flowers, chocolates, gift card, handmade canvas and the lovely card. They were incredibly thoughtful and have made today even more emotional. ❤️
I am going to miss you so, so much little one, but I am also SO proud of you. I know you are going to have the most amazing time at big school. Go and show them exactly how wonderful you are! 🌟
Once a little one has been part of your childminding family for this long, they never really leave your heart. ❤️
