Back from Fort Belan (Caernarfon) and a great weekend with the Angelsey Hussars.
The US Marines made an attack on the Fort on Saturday which was bravely fought off by the 7th Hussars and RHA, however on Sunday we scaled the walls and the defenders capitulated, overwhelmed by marine Muller who led the breach bolstered by Sgt Rogers and 2 militiamen. Sadly Pvt Mack was cut down in the attack.
