Calling all students!
Take a break from revision and submit your work to Swansea University Medical Schoolâs annual student review! You don't need to do any extra work as weâre looking for essays that have already been handed in. If youâd prefer to write something new, we are also looking for experience pieces about your course or placement.
You can submit your work by emailing it to [email protected] along with your name, course and year.
We need work from all years so make sure to check out the first comment to this post to see what weâre after. Youâve got just under a month (18/04/2018) to get your work in, so donât delay. We look forward to reading your work soon!

Would you like your work published to the wider community?
Would you like to share your experiences?
We need essays and placement reviews to highlight the high standard of work of the students of the Medical School. These will be included in the second issue of the Medical Schoolâs Annual Review, Vitae Scientia. The previous issue can be found at http://projects.swan.ac.uk/vitaescientia
Attached is a list of pieces of work we want. For the most part, it doesnât require any extra effort from you, as we want essays and literature reviews that you have already submitted as part of your course! Attached is a list of pieces that we want for each course and year-group.
If you would like to submit a piece of work, please email [email protected] with your name, course, year, and attach the piece. As we require module co-ordinator or supervisor permission for some things, please could you ask the relevant person to drop a quick email to confirm they are happy for your work to be published.
Unfortunately not all the work that will be submitted will be included, but best of luck to you all!

Would you like to be part of developing the second issue of Swansea University Medical Schoolâs Annual Review, Vitae Scientia?
We are looking for several enthusiastic students to help develop and edit the second issue. These are the roles we are looking for:
Editors (several):
You will be choosing the best pieces of work to include, and ensuring all grammar and spelling are to a high standard.
PR officer:
You will be in charge of twitter and facebook accounts, and helping to market the annual review to a wide audience.
Copyright editor:
You will ensure permissions from the relevant people have been attained, and will be responsible for getting permissions to use certain figures.
If you would like to apply for a role, please send an email to [email protected] telling us why you should have a role.
Deadline for applications is 15/03/2018.
