The C3 Centre for Creativity and Culture CIC through our mobile cultural theatre delivered a body movement and rhythmic session to the over 20 residents of Campion Care. With an ever-diversifying work space, Campion Care curated a residential event to celebrate those who provide services to their community, and also have residents enjoy a rhythmic movement session.

This is one of the many ways the C3 Centre and team use creativity as a form of therapy and wellbeing across schools, events, care homes and communities. We are glad we can be part of this beautiful community as we share the goods of creativity and culture.

The C3 Centre Youth Podcast Training Project, “Amplify Voices to Unlock Futures” funded by The National Lottery Community Fund The National Lottery Community Fund/ Cronfa Gymunedol y Loteri Genedlaethol, is currently rounding off our Podcast Presentation Stage and heading to our final showcase. Our training and development stage was a time for our youths to be trained by professionals and they have since grown across the stages of the project.

Today’s Podcast features Mohammed and Paul, two amazing and multi-talented young people who chose the subject of “Dream” as their topic. Mohammed loves acting, basketball, ballet, and currently learning photography! Paul loves swimming, football, band engagements and plays the trumpet! Having Mohammed and Paul discuss “dream” was in itself a dream!

June is the Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month! However, it is significant for us as a community to see young boys who are growing to become men someday, boldly discuss and unpack crucial subjects that affect them!

Watch this space for our final showcase and presentation on our “Amplify Voices to Unlock Futures Project”!

It is Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month and a what a great opportunity to gather some creative and cultural practitioners and deliver a truly memorable experience at the National Waterfront Museum.

The creative and cultural arts has proven to hold therapeutic and wellbeing appeal and directly contributes to destressing, recentering and declutterring of our mental decks. Imagine what magic it holds when men come together to luxuriate in each other’s talents and create beautiful memories, just because.

The C3 Centre theme for the 2026 Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month is “Deploying Creativity and Culture for Men’s Wellbeing”.

Attending the Swansea Council for Voluntary Service Special Annual Event was a breath of fresh air. It was indeed inspirational listening to other organisations in the third sector, being part of the training sessions and meeting new people.

We particularly enjoyed the connection rooms where we got introduced to other partners in progress. The journey service provision requires a great deal of resilience and we are happy we are not doing this journey alone.

The C3 Centre Samba Body Movement taster session was delivered by one of our creative and cultural ambassadors, Paula Santos. This energetic family and youth session witnessed a cross-generational attendance.

It was also an opportunity to hear from our community on wellbeing benefits of our planned movement sessions and the many ways we can our dance, body movement and other rhythmic and breath activities for the community.

We look forward to rolling this out regularly in our upcoming project.

Our young people believe that they are not too young to dream! Our Amplify Voices to Unlock Futures Project has featured a range of conversational podcasts during which young people unpacked diverse topicalities that affect them as youths.

On this very edition, Isaac, Saida and Maybelle were certain and bold on the subject of aspirations, dreams, becoming and the expected age to aspire to the heights of dreams. It is really inspiring to see young people championing their future by amplifying their voices and encouraging other young people in the community.

Our The National Lottery Community Fund The National Lottery Community Fund/ Cronfa Gymunedol y Loteri Genedlaethol Project has witnessed great improvement iin skills on Public Speaking, Podcasting, Communication, Event Hosting, Public Opinion Forum Organisation amongst our youths.

Our adult Qigong Session was a time to reflectvand connect with out bodies in ways we often overlook. Cultural well being and arts practices offers a kind of rhythm that rejuvenates.

Well-being begins with Movement!

Our Half-Term deliveries have moved slightly away from our usual visual arts and upcycling activities to body movement, rhythm, dance and well-being.

After weeks of active school work, we took our young people through rhythms and well being session. We love the feedback and we look forward to more of these sessions for our youths and children.
