The C3 Centre for Creativity and Culture CIC was represented at the Swansea Council Culture Strategy Event held at the National Waterdront Museum. Through Creative Swansea , our young people joined the youth discussion and performed a dance and instrumental rendition, as well as poetry.

We look forward to the ways the culture strategy will empower young creatives to build cultural awareness and preserve Swansea’s rich historical heritage, language, and culture.

The C3 Centre for Creativity and Culture CIC is proud to announce our new Co-Director, Charlotte Stephens (Lottie Williams). Lottie, who recently joined our team of directors, is a real asset to the organisation. She has in the past delivered Nature Writing Workshops for our youth community.

As we step into a new phase of infusing Welsh Language Education and Heritage into our promotional materials and creative and cultural deliveries, Lottie becomes both a bridge and a consultant in realising and delivering our mandates in content and context.

Dear Lottie Williams, you are welcome to the C3 Centre for Creativity and Culture CIC. Together, we will create amazing things for the community we love.

TRAVERSING THE CASTLE, BAY AND ESTUARY OF LLANSTEFFAN

Our summer of culture and heritage took our community on a trip to the Glasbren at Lords Park Farm, which ended up being a detour to discovering the heritage sites of the Llansteffan community:

1) The walk across the River Twi Estuary into the Carmarthen Bay!
2) Discovering the stories and narrative history of the Llansteffan Castle.
3) Learning the rich heritage and farming methods deployed by the staff of the at Lords Park Farm , delivered by one of our Directors, Lottie Williams .

Learning cultural competency and integration through Welsh heritage trips and discoveries was one of the hallmarks of our summer trip.

It’s been a great experience collaborating with to create defining moments for our young people and families this summer.

Our Summer of culture and heritage was delivered!☀️☀️☀️

Our summer collaboration with Youth4Change Wales witnessed an intergenerational discussion on the changing dynamics of “Play/Games”. It was a great opportunity for seniors to share memories of cultural/creative play and games.

It was also a good time for our young people to set aside their gadgets and learn some traditional games. Having the children immerse themselves in the process and master traditional wood, seed, and card games was truly commendable.

We are excited about how our summer of cultural pride and heritage has taken our young people across diverse forms of traditional arts and creativity.
