It’s medal Monday for our very own Gareth 🏅🏃

Gareth swapped the classroom & MEWPs for running trainers and a medal as he took on the Cardiff Half Marathon.

Not only did he complete it in his goal of sub 2 hours, but Ga raised much needed funds and awareness for Cancer Research Wales | Ymchwil Canser Cymru 👏

Well done Ga on completing yet another half marathon & contributing to a fantastic cause!

🦺 Knights Brown at Alpha Safety Training 🦺

It was a pleasure to welcome young apprentices from Knights Brown who have recently undertaken cohorts of training, readying themselves for huge South Wales projects such as the Cardiff Coastal Protection project, Swansea Castle Gardens, to name just a couple.

The students were fantastic, and a credit to Knights Brown, willing, eager, and good fun too!

Our good friends at Cyfle Building Skills have been doing some fantastic work recruiting apprentices, as a result have taken on a record number this year as the demand has been so high.
 
Cyfle Building Skills have managed to house the vast majority of the new recruits, but are still seeking companies looking to onboard the remaining candidates.

Cyfle currently have the following apprentices looking for an immediate start:
 
Carpentry 🪚 
Technical 🏡 (QS, Management, Civils etc.)
Plumbing 🔧 
Electrical ⚡️
 
All are driving, living in the Neath, Port Talbot and Swansea region and have come through a lengthy recruitment process.

Any support would be greatly appreciated in helping not only Cyfle, but also assisting the future of the construction industry.

🚑Highfield Level 3 First Aid at Work at Alpha Safety Training Cardiff🚑

It was a pleasure to welcome the delegates for their 3 x Day First Aid at work course just last week.

The students were fantastic, they worked hard, took everything on board, and have now walked away with some fresh and comprehensive first aid skills!

🤩🌟Feel Great Friday at Alpha Safety Training🌟🤩

Now that’s how to start a Friday!

Today it’s a double celebration for Matt who completed his probation period this week and collected his company van.

Matt then topped it off, by receiving our feedback Friday from Tom from our good friends at who recently completed our IATP - Independent Asbestos Training Providers CAT B Non-licensable Working with Asbestos course.

Since starting with us a little over six month ago, Matt has hit the ground running. He is consistently achieving fantastic student comments, and this feedback was that little extra special as Tom kindly went out of his way to share his thoughts on Google reviews! Something not every student will take the time to do.

Feedback Friday this week comes courtesy of our friends at Prichard's

We welcomed group health & safety officer Nathan & colleague Julian to our Swansea training academy to complete their NPORS CAT & Genny operator (cable avoidance) N304 training.

The course was expertly led by our senior instructor Gareth to a full cohort of learners who was kindly left glowing feedback, including the following from Nathan & Julian:

‼️🥈Alpha Safety Training No. 2 in Wales for PASMA🥈‼️

We are pleased to share that we have passed our scheduled annual PASMA audit for compliance on both records of previously delivered courses and the triennial audit of our teaching facilities with flying colours.

The audit was met with full compliance for both paperwork and our centres, with excellent feedback on the administration of our PASMA delivery, so you can feel rest assured you’re getting only the very best teaching and facilities here at Alpha Safety Training.
 
Further to the audit, also pleased to update that we have climbed 2 x places in the PASMA member ranking table, where we now sit 30th place of ALL of the PASMA training providers across the United Kingdom.

This ranking currently places us at 2nd out of all PASMA centres in Wales!

A huge thanks to everyone involved in delivering this outcome from course delivery, set up of classrooms, through to claiming of qualifications, it really is a team effort and news that we’re thrilled to share
