The team were once again in attendance of Cardiff, as we returned for our fourth consecutive year.

It was a fantastic day, as always, as we connected with likeminded individuals and companies across the sector from South Wales and beyond!

Congratulations to Jonathan Turner of Riverside who was our winner of our ‘name our manikin’ challenge, who has bagged himself a course with us here at Alpha!

Thanks again to the WCS team for a great day, we’re already looking forward to exhibiting once again in Swansea on 14th October 2026!

Earlier this week, we had the pleasure of welcoming RTITB to carry out our annual quality assurance visit & centre inspection.

Following confirmation of the audit report, we’re extremely pleased to share a result of FULL COMPLIANCE being achieved at both of our Swansea & Cardiff centres, with no shortfalls identified during the visit.

The visit also included an observation of the delivery of a live RTITB Counterbalance lift truck course, which resulted in a score of 35/36 and the following feedback:

“The course was well set out for training, with the content and practical elements structured appropriately to reflect effective learning.

Both theoretical and practical activity were aligned to reflect the RTITB standards, allowing learners to develop necessary skills in a safe and controlled environment.

The overall set up supported clear progression, key safety principles and contributed to a professional and effective experience.”

An excellent result all round from the RTITB delivery team… 👏✅

👷‍♀️Alpha Safety Training celebrates Women In Construction Week👷‍♀️

Construction training is in the forefront of our offering here at Alpha, and it is our female dream team of administrators, managers, tutors, and IQA’s, that make the Alpha machine run smoothly and efficiently.

Our awesome team work tirelessly both behind the scenes and also customer facing to ensure our clients and students get the best possible experience. Whether it be registering on the first day, or issuing your certificate on the last day, everyone plays their part to ensure the best possible standards of Health & Safety training in construction.

Some of our female contingent have been with our organisation for more than a decade in turn making up a large chunk of the Alpha DNA, and it is safe to say the Alpha Safety family is as close as ever, and the women in our organisation play a huge part in this.

Adam teaches a wide array of courses for us at Alpha Safety, ranging from City & Guilds Medium Risk Confined Spaces, NPORS courses such as Working at Height, Abrasive wheels, and CAT & Genny, and has recently been approved to teach NPORS Ladders too.

No matter what course he takes, his feedback has been outstanding. Superb effort Adam, keep up the great work!

Alpha Safety Training at Cyfle Building Skills

The pleasure was all ours as we supported the team at Cyfle Building Skills yesterday with their Accident Reporting and Investigating training offered by our very own managing director Paul Jones.

Having worked alongside the team at Cyfle Building Skills, Swansea Bay Construction Support Group, and CCTAL for many years, it was lovely for us to be able to offer our services in return.

The tutor Paul fed back that the team were great from start to finish, super accommodating, enthusiastic and willing, and in turn the session was enjoyable all around. This feedback was shared by those in attendance which is evident below from their comments:
