We welcomed group health & safety officer Nathan & colleague Julian to our Swansea training academy to complete their NPORS CAT & Genny operator (cable avoidance) N304 training.

‼️🥈Alpha Safety Training No. 2 in Wales for PASMA🥈‼️

We are pleased to share that we have passed our scheduled annual PASMA audit for compliance on both records of previously delivered courses and the triennial audit of our teaching facilities with flying colours.

The audit was met with full compliance for both paperwork and our centres, with excellent feedback on the administration of our PASMA delivery, so you can feel rest assured you’re getting only the very best teaching and facilities here at Alpha Safety Training.
 
Further to the audit, also pleased to update that we have climbed 2 x places in the PASMA member ranking table, where we now sit 30th place of ALL of the PASMA training providers across the United Kingdom.

This ranking currently places us at 2nd out of all PASMA centres in Wales!

A huge thanks to everyone involved in delivering this outcome from course delivery, set up of classrooms, through to claiming of qualifications, it really is a team effort and news that we’re thrilled to share

Last week we celebrated the Swansea Bay Construction Support Group’s 5th annual apprenticeship awards evening 🏆🏗️

We were extremely grateful to return as the awards headline sponsor, being able to support the work done by SBCSG to shine a spotlight on apprentices & new entrants across the Swansea & Neath Port Talbot region in the construction sector.

It’s medal Monday for some of the Alpha team 🥇

Not long after his Manchester Marathon success, our General Manager Danial and following on from his debut outing at Cardiff Half, our Senior Instructor Gareth took on yesterday’s 🦢🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Both Dan & Gareth successfully got around the course, both achieving new personal best times for the 13.1 miles in the process… Superb effort all around from team Alpha 👏🏼

🚧🏗️ The Welsh Construction shows 2026 🏗️🚧

The team were once again in attendance of Cardiff, as we returned for our fourth consecutive year.

It was a fantastic day, as always, as we connected with likeminded individuals and companies across the sector from South Wales and beyond!

Congratulations to Jonathan Turner of Riverside who was our winner of our ‘name our manikin’ challenge, who has bagged himself a course with us here at Alpha!

Thanks again to the WCS team for a great day, we’re already looking forward to exhibiting once again in Swansea on 14th October 2026!

Earlier this week, we had the pleasure of welcoming RTITB to carry out our annual quality assurance visit & centre inspection.

Following confirmation of the audit report, we’re extremely pleased to share a result of FULL COMPLIANCE being achieved at both of our Swansea & Cardiff centres, with no shortfalls identified during the visit.

The visit also included an observation of the delivery of a live RTITB Counterbalance lift truck course, which resulted in a score of 35/36 and the following feedback:

“The course was well set out for training, with the content and practical elements structured appropriately to reflect effective learning.

Both theoretical and practical activity were aligned to reflect the RTITB standards, allowing learners to develop necessary skills in a safe and controlled environment.

The overall set up supported clear progression, key safety principles and contributed to a professional and effective experience.”

An excellent result all round from the RTITB delivery team… 👏✅

Construction training is in the forefront of our offering here at Alpha, and it is our female dream team of administrators, managers, tutors, and IQA’s, that make the Alpha machine run smoothly and efficiently.

Our awesome team work tirelessly both behind the scenes and also customer facing to ensure our clients and students get the best possible experience. Whether it be registering on the first day, or issuing your certificate on the last day, everyone plays their part to ensure the best possible standards of Health & Safety training in construction.

Some of our female contingent have been with our organisation for more than a decade in turn making up a large chunk of the Alpha DNA, and it is safe to say the Alpha Safety family is as close as ever, and the women in our organisation play a huge part in this.
