🎨✨ A huge thank you to the BA (Hons) Surface Pattern & Design team at UWTSD Swansea College of Art for hosting our Year 10 GCSE Textiles Design students this week!

Pupils explored the inspiring degree show, developed composition skills through collaborative design activities, and got hands-on with screen printing to create their own decorative banner.

It was a fantastic opportunity to experience the creativity, teamwork and problem-solving at the heart of the creative industries, while gaining an insight into studying art and design at university level.

We are incredibly grateful to the team for such an engaging and inspiring day! 🌟

Pupils in Mrs Davey's Newid - Enhanced Provision class have been busy over the past couple of months sowing seeds and planting wildflowers and plants. They are currently growing potatoes, cucumbers, tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, cauliflower, strawberries, aubergines and a variety of herbs.

Pupils have also constructed a beautiful arbour seating area for everyone to enjoy relaxing in nature. We are very proud of their hard work, teamwork, and dedication in creating such a wonderful outdoor space for all to enjoy!
