Bat Walk - Singleton Campus, Thursday 1st October @ 7pm 🦇

Singleton Park Campus is a hotspot for bat activity - join us for short walk looking for nocturnal wildlife.

Join our Biodiversity Officer to look for nocturnal wildlife on campus – use a bat detector to listen in to their ultrasonic calls and find out more about their hidden lives.

Meet in front of Fulton House at 7pm, wear warm clothes. Limited spaces, booking essential.

Join us on the 28th for some meditation!

What is Medicine Buddha Puja?
The Medicine Buddha Puja is a traditional Tibetan Buddhist practice dedicated to healing, wellbeing and the relief of mental and physical suffering.

For centuries, this practice has been offered for those experiencing illness, emotional difficulties, grief or challenging circumstances. Through prayer, mantra and meditation, we create positive intentions for ourselves, our loved ones and all beings.

Traditionally, Medicine Buddha practice is believed to help purify negative karma, remove obstacles, support healing and create positive conditions for health, long life and inner peace.

If you know someone who is unwell or going through a difficult time, you are welcome to bring their name so the practice can be dedicated to them.
No previous experience of Buddhism or meditation is needed. Everyone is welcome.
