Stuart and I are cycling again for this charity to help raise funds for research / treatment. We have several friends who have suffered from this increasingly diagnosed cancer and is therefore a charity close to our hearts. Any donation no matter the size will be welcomed . Thank you

Swansea Central had a very informative talk about Seals yesterday. We learnt lots. However we also were told how dangerous 'flying' open rings are to seals. When they end up in the sea, they can end up round the seals' necks, with disastrous results. Please sign and share this petition to get them banned . The solid original Frisbee that look like saucers are fine.

Matthew’s House has been voted into the Top Three Finalists in the “Making a Difference” category at the AU Vodka Sponsored Swansea Life Awards 2026 and honestly… we are incredibly thankful and pretty chuffed.

Just nine years ago, Matthew’s House was simply an idea we had as the Hill Church Family. A hope that hospitality, consistency and community could help make a difference across Swansea, with a saying "for the city, with the city!" at it's heart!

The funny thing is, we did not even realise the recognition process was happening. We’ve just been busy serving guests, supporting people, training volunteers, and trying our best together day by day.

Mostly, this is a huge thank you!!

To every volunteer, guest, supporter, church, business, funder and friend who has played a part in the Matthew’s House story… thank you. This belongs to all of us!

There is so much good across Swansea worth celebrating and we are grateful to be a small part of it 💛
