One of my favourite moments on a cookery course day is creating canapés!
There’s something rather special about transforming a simple idea into a beautiful little mouthful.
Canapés capture the anticipation of a meal perfectly. They arrive just when everyone is at their hungriest, offering a glimpse of what’s to come and setting the scene for the table ahead.

Had such a good lunch at Beach House ☀️🌊
Everything we ordered was really good, the atmosphere was lovely, and it’s somewhere I keep coming back to!

What a fantastic bank holiday weekend at L’Amuse! We enjoyed beautiful weather, amazing food, and a brilliant cookery course with wonderful company.

Dinner at Starling and wow… you can really feel the passion behind it all.
Nick Beardshaw has created something special, delicious food without any of the pretentiousness.
Thoughtful dishes, amazing flavours, great wine and such a relaxed atmosphere.

A fab evening last night at Parc-Le-Breos Country House & Restaurant with new chef Matt 👏✨
Started with the most beautifully cooked hake, served with lobster risotto, peas, Wye Valley asparagus and sea fennel 🌿🦞🐟
And to finish… the most delightful sticky toffee pudding with ice cream 🍨
