This great team made AWAS proud today again. Passed through their FREC 3 with pride and flying colours.
Second group to pass through in the last couple of weeks, and most have already shown a great interest in the next step ... FREC 4. "The sky is the limit".
You're doing AWAS and your team proud guys.
A massive congratulations and thanks from your Management and team.

This old desk has been in the cellar since we moved into the school 14 years ago.
Time to give it some space again π.
I've got another two if anyone wants them. Free to good home ππ

A huge shout out today for a great team of 6 staff, who passed their FREC 3 with flying colours (Average 85%).
You all worked your socks off and deserve our thanks and congratulations.
A massive thank you too to Duncan from Pulse Emergency Medical Training who, throughout the week, was so supportive and professional.
You couldn't have given me a better retirement present than this.
Thank you all.

Where has the time gone ?
35 years ago today, Paul Bennett and I had an idea, one that was going to turn into one of the largest private ambulance services in Wales.
Little did we know that it would set the scene as we were the first and only registered ambulance service in the principality.
Thanks to our valued members of staff, past and present, we continue to push on, taking patients across the country and the rest of the world.
Paul has now retired and I hope I'm not going to be far behind him. We're still best of mates though and continue to enjoy each others company on a regular basis.
A happy birthday is something special but just as special is to remember those that, who only with us in spirit helped make it possible. Thank you, all of you.
Cheers from Pau, Kev and me.

Well we see ourselves in the start of another year. As we start yet another year of service, it's sad to look back and miss great collegues who are no longer here with us in person. That said, they'll always live in our hearts and minds and will always be a part of our team.
So to all of you, Happy New Year. Let's hope that it brings health and happiness ..... Nothing else matters really.
Yesterday was a lovely tribute to a very valued member of staff, character and friend.
The service at Swansea was a credit to the whole family and Lynne Bray would have been so proud of your respect and words.
The service was fitting to someone who had done so much for so many, in so many ways.
Tony's words were just about as perfect as it comes, and described a truly loving marriage and friendship.
Julz Head ... You did Mum proud in the way that you stood up as a solid member of the family and precious daughter. At AWAS, we all know that she always spoke so highly of you and you were more a friend than a daughter. She spoke highly of all of you. But then she never spoke I'll of anyone. In all the years I knew her, she never put anyone below herself.
Bethany ... Your words on that microphone yesterday rang out and touched every single person in the room. Beleive me when i say that we were all stood beside you and holding your hand every step of the way.
I have always admired anyone who can stand up and speak about a loved one at a funeral, but you stood, with a broken heart, and gave the fondest farewell that anyone could have given to your Nan.
Your Nan always spoke about you to us. She would never have a "favourite" among her family but you were about as high up the list as you could have been π.
Please tell Tony that I'm really sorry I didn't get a chance to see him on the way out and that we all send our love.
Apart from this, nothing can be said to make anything easier, better, less painful or different. Other than to say that, if you need ANYTHING WHATSOEVER, wer'e all here for you. Don't be strangers, don't be afraid to ask and please know that our door is always open.
To all AWAS staff (Past and present) and all other service staff who attended ... thank you for saluting a true professional.
Love to you all.
Gareth and Everyone at All Wales Ambulance.
