📢 UNIFORM GRANT / FREE SCHOOL MEALS – IMPORTANT INFORMATION

We’ve become aware that some parents are experiencing difficulties when trying to apply for the School Uniform Grant.

Please be aware that, in order to be eligible for the grant, you must have separately applied for means-tested Free School Meals (FSM) and be eligible.

Although all primary-aged children in Wales now receive free school meals in school, this is through the Universal Primary Free School Meals scheme and does NOT mean that your child is automatically registered for means-tested Free School Meals (we know, this is really confusing 🙈🤪)

⚠️ You still need to apply for Free School Meals separately if you believe you are eligible.

Registering for Free School Meals, if eligible, is important as it can also give you access to other financial support throughout your child’s time at primary school, including the School Essentials Grant (uniform grant).

Family Skills Circus Sessions

Come and learn amazing circus skills together! 🤹
For children aged 5+ and their families
📅 Time: 2.00pm – 4.00pm
Join us for an exciting afternoon of circus fun, including:
⭐ Juggling
⭐ Plate Spinning
⭐ Diabolo Skills
⭐ Balancing Activities
⭐ Circus Games
🎉 A fun, active session for the whole family where you can learn new skills, build confidence and have lots of laughs together!
Suitable for children aged 5 years and over
Children must be accompanied by an adult

This year, we're proud to once again be working in partnership with Swansea Council to bring you another fantastic summer experience! 🥳

🕰️ Our Summer Club will run from 9:00am to 11:30am at The Phoenix Centre, every Monday to Thursday from Monday 3rd August to Thursday 27th August.

There’ll be plenty of free activities to enjoy, including play activities, community walks and more! 👀

👉 Everyone is welcome, and there’s no need to book! We kindly ask that children under 10 are accompanied by an adult.

We can’t wait for another fun-filled summer for the children and families of Townhill, Mayhill and Gors. 🤩
